After a crappy day, is there anything better than having some beers with friends to lift your spirits? UUUUH YEAH! Having some beers with the crazy King Trivia players over at The White Harte!!! I knew from round 1 that it was gonna be a competitive game, when I had to exercise rule #3... THE QUIZMASTER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. Sometimes I'm lenient, and sometimes I'm strict. If you put "Louie XVI" instead of "Louie XIV" you might get a point (I'm not that great with roman numerals) but if you put "Fission" instead of "Cold Fusion" eeeehhh...not so much.
Returning champions "The Cunning Linguists" claimed 1st again! What is this 3, 4 weeks in a row now? Damn guys, let someone else win!
Newcomers "Bob" snuck up and grabbed 2nd with back to back doubles in the final rounds! AND grabbed some free drinks in our "Kiss My Ass" drinking round where I had teams say something nice about me to pick up my spirits a little. (As I said I had a shitty day.)
Coming in 3rd was team "VOLTRON!" 5 mini lion bots came together to form 1 super bot! According to Vanessa, that's worth 3 minutes, but in this case its worth 10 bucks baby! Yeah, that was a Deadpool reference, I'm a nerd and I'm proud!

What a game!! Once again, Double or Nothing's were as common as Pidgey's and paid off! (Unlike Pidgey's.)
Personally, I thought that tonight's game was pretty damn hard, but it didn't seem to phase my smarty pants players a bit! Team "'Merica" fought hard and claimed 3rd with 64. "You Essay" AKA "Keepin' it Rio" claimed 2nd with 68. I guess my curse from last week was negated when they registered their team, but there still must've been a little mojo left because claiming 1st by 1 point were "The Cunning Linguists" with the perfectly ironic score of 69!
In our drinking round "Squat & Drop", the representative of team "VOLRTON!" proved that she has amazing aim when it comes to dropping a quarter from your knees into a cup without stopping! She was the only one to do it twice! But honestly, her competition from team "Butt Butt Goose" was the most entertaining. The dude looked like a duck with a load in his pants! I know how ironic that sounds, but it's the truth. I was trying to take a picture, but I was laughing too hard!

Another great night of trivia at The White Harte!
So many teams were super confident and it showed with a total of 15 Double or Nothing's! The majority of which paid off!
It was a pretty close game throughout! In 1st place was "The Other Mrs. White" with 70 (*excuse me while I berate some of my players* You guys need to DECIDE ON A NAME and freaking REGISTER ALREADY! You can play as anything you want, all I need is your number! You're only hurting yourselves! *sorry about that, moving on*) Followed by "Black Dragon Society" AKA "Goulet!" with 64, and "The Cunning Linguists" take 3rd with 59! These are the teams to beat at White Harte, it seems that every time they play they win! Can YOUR team knock them down a peg? I love my regulars and I always wish them the best of luck. But for now, "Other Mrs. White" I now put a curse on you!! You will not win until you register your team!

Our 4th place team "Jameson" were winners too as they were the only team to double down and NAIL IT in our drinking round "Now Playing" where teams had to identify the movie from an incomplete movie poster. Either they REALLY know their movie posters or they happen to have the same version of Scene It that I totally stole that game from!
