What a fun night!
Team "We Killed Jon Benet" murdered the competition with a steadily increasing lead throughout most of the game, granting them 1st place but not the cover of a tabloid. Team "Baby Muscle" flexed their most important muscles and took home 2nd. And "The Cunning Linguists" took home 3rd despite a lot of tongue wagging.
Team Bongo found a rythem with our "Hybrid Hold 'em Poker" drinking round with a Kings & 10's hand.

Yunno when you see a huge band in a tiny venue and it's amazing because it's really intimate, and you feel like you really connect with the band? That's kind of how tonight felt, although I guess I experienced that from the band's perspective since I was behind the mic. We had about half our usual crowd, but it still felt like one of my best shows to date. I had a F&%$ing BLAST!
Taking the lead early on and holding onto it again was "Rock, Paper, Quizzers" with 2 successful doubles!
"The Cunning Linguists" snagged 2nd by knowing 1 more rich actress than "Stellabrate Good Times" (Seriously, they won 2nd by 1 point in the final round!)
In our Drinking Round "The Geography of Horror," "Black Dragon Society" AKA "Jacob Got His Shots" won by a BATTLE DICE tie breaker because they and "Belly Lint" were the only teams to double down on catching my shenanigans, knowing that almost EVERY novel by Stephen King is set in Maine!

Took 1st place beating their opponents by over 20 points! (It would've been more if they doubled down in a couple rounds... just sayin'.)
"Black Dragon Society" AKA "Cold Slither" and "Oscar's Big Shittata" TIED for second, but CS knew that "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant" by Billy Joel was a loooooong ass song and claimed 2nd leaving OBS (aka team: we always take other regular team names and make them weird) with 3rd.
"Belly Lint" was tonight's "everyone's a comedian" drinking round winners with their joke "--------" (I was asked not to post this joke, but I will tell you that it involved Barbara Streisand's nether-regions and was hilarious!)
