Where's Adam? What happened to Adam? That's all everyone kept asking me, to which I replied, "I'm the Quizmaster tonight, I ask the questions!" I actually didn't say that, but I did fill in for Adam on Tuesday night at the White Harte Pub for King Trivia.
It was a homecoming for me, because it is the bar where about 11-12 years ago, I started playing King Trivia there, and it is also where I decided 10 years ago to become a Quizmaster for King Trivia! But enough about me, let's get to the recap....
The Alt-Facts had all the right facts, as they only missed two answers the entire night! They missed the correct answer on the Gambler's Corner round 4, and they missed one answer in the final round. The other rounds they doubled down and killed it with a whopping 86 points to take 1st place, which they had locked down in Round 7! The next closest team was Tenders and Thai Sauce who seemed to have a good meal, and took 2nd Place with 55 points. Coming in 3rd was Captain Planet, I've heard he's our hero and that he'd take pollution down to zero, with 53 points!
For the drinking round, players had to move one solo cup from the top of the stack to the bottom of the stack until the first cup was back in the same position. Every team tried playing the game, but the New Guys came in 1st place with 20.95 seconds! It was another fun night for all. Hopefully Adam is back next week!

It takes more than a little Californian Kryptonite (rain) to wash away the good times over at the White Harte! Players were dry and competition was high! In 3rd place, claiming that one extra note saves them from plagiarism "Ice, Ice Baby!" In 2nd, they obviously came here to kick butt because "We're All Out of Bubblegum!" Tonight's big winners, not only did they win our "You have the wrong number" drinking round, but they also won 1st place... "Dennis A F and Christina!" Ok, honestly I have no idea what their name means and it's hard to write a bad pun about it... But YAAAY Christina was here!!!!

It is GOOOOOD TO BE BAAAAACK!! After a 2 week hiatus due to my birthday and my day job, I was finally able to return to my favorite place in the world to host a King Trivia show...The White Harte!! Did you miss me? Some of you missed me! Well, it was a fantastic game, no bout adout it! We had some teams that were either psychic, thinking alike, or all of the above! Winning our "Bust a Rhyme" drinking round was Tim from "Bangers & Cash!" He laid down some sick rhymes! Coming in 3rd were last weeks winners, now named "Adam's Not Dead!" (Aaaaw, you do care! I had to go out of town for work, I wasn't roped up in Peter's trunk, although I've had weird dream about that.) In 2nd was "Bangers & Mash" (quite possibly, the inspiration for our drinking round winners' name, but definitely one of my favorite meals, and teams at the White Harte.) And in the lead... "And In The Lead..." claimed 1st place! I'm actually really glad, for their sake, they were leading the ENTIRE game! Otherwise it would've been kinda awkward!
