I hope you all had as much fun as I did tonight at the White Harte! I had a friggin' blast! Also, I had a blast from the past, with a friend I haven't seen in 6 years showing up tonight! YAY!
Tonight's drinking round was "Started From the Bottom, Now We're Here." Where I had team representatives take a stack of solo cups and move the one different cup from the bottom to the top, 1 cup at a time, stacking the others below, as quickly as possible! Derek from Team Artemis won with a time of 49.5 seconds!
Scoring big with a perfect double in round 6! Coming in 3rd place tonight was a team that just drives the whole skulk of regnards wild with their cunning. The Trivia Vixens! Oooo, foxy ladies!
Doubling down in both rounds 1 and 6, and having to battle the Vixens in a tie breaker for 2nd place! This band of rockers claimed victory despite missing their frontman, Eddie and the Cruisers! ...But is Eddie alive? We'll have to wait for the sequel to find out!
Doubling down 3 times, and only missing the bullseye once. Still managing to prove that they are goddesses (and a god) of the trivia hunt, with a drinking round and 1st place win! Team Artemis!

Y'all freak me out, but I love it! 7:45 hits, 1 team. 7:50 hits, 3 teams... Ok we have a game. 8:00 hits, 9 freaking team! It's showtime baby! Every time this happens I have a little heart attack, but like I said... I love it!
It was a tight game! With over half the rounds ending with at least 3 teams tied. It wasn't until the final round, that no teams were tied!
In tonight's "Bust a Rhyme" drinking round. I had a rep from each team join me up front. 1st person says something (more than 3 words) and the following reps have to say something that rhymes the last word. If they take too long or repeat, they sit down. Each time someone is eliminated, a new rhyme begins with the next person. Despite throwing shade at my game with "this game is boring but it'll get me a drink for free." Matt from Arya Sharts outlasted the competition and indeed got a drink. I'm not gonna hold it against him though, the last few episodes of GOT have me angry too.
Coming in 3rd place tonight, a team that knows when you're gonna slay the competition, you have to harvest the finest parts of your victims... Fine Corinthian Leatherface! (Oooh... That was dark... Even for me... That was dark.)
In 2nd place! Hanging around the upper middle of the pack until a perfect Double in round 6 "Kablammed" them to victory! A team that was full of "all the bacon and eggs you have," and defiantly drinking "Snake Juice" Parks and Wrecked! took home the silver!
Tied with P&W since Round 3, and finally slipping ahead by one point in the final round! 1st place went to the most respectable creeps I've ever had the pleasure of knowing... They only drug themselves. Two Roophies, No Chaser! Mayhap's their new found winnings will buy a chaser next time!

Tonight was just what I needed! After a weekend of having my nerdy, nerdy soul torn asunder by Endgame and Game of Thrones, a trivia game with an AMAZING bunch of players was just what the doctor ordered!
Tonight's drinking round was kind of crazy. I started with a simple card game, "Find the fool!" I place a joker in the deck, and whoever guesses the number closest wins! Perfect game of chance! Yeah... Sure... EVERY team guessed 26! This game of chance became a game of statistics! So I gave my teams some other options and "Name That Tune" became the new drinking round! Teams had to get the song title from bands like Heart, The Foo Fighters, The Rolling Stones, Notorious B.I.G and more. Tim from Two Roophies, No Chaser claimed victory and got an extra beer to help swallow those hard to swallow pills!
Ok, I'm trying not to sound like a nervous high school senior here... Webster defines the word "vixen" as a spiteful, quarrelsome woman, or a female fox. I am here to tell you that IT..IS..THE..LATTER! The foxy ladies of the Trivia Vixens came in third place!
Despite being all drugged out on flunitrazepam, and adding insult to injury by winning the drinking round. Two Roophies, No Chaser came in 2nd place!
There was a lot of talk tonight about "Are you cool enough to be Eddie?" In this humble quizmaster's opinion, No! Eddie is a myth, a legend... Dare I say it? A God! And that's why Eddie and the Cruisers consistently win 1st place!
