About Rasselbock Kitchen & Beer Garden

We are striving to bring the best in fresh & authentic German cuisine to Long Beach. Our menu includes various versions of schnitzel, sausages, Bavarian pretzels and of course our famous apple strudel.

It also includes multiple vegetarian & vegan options and kid-friendly dishes.

Rasselbock, Kitchen & Beer Garden is located in Bixby Knolls, a beautiful neighborhood just 10 min from Downtown Long Beach.

We have a parking lot with over 40 spots behind the restaurant and free parking on Atlantic Ave for 2h. Rasselbock is a German restaurant and pub specializing in German food with a modern twist and freshly tapped German and Belgian beers since we opened in 2016. Featuring over 35 German and Belgian beers, homemade sangrias and a great selection of German and Californian Wines.

An impressive six teams successfully doubled Round 1 this week. They spent the next few rounds jostling for position until TimTom Needs a New Phone took a big lead with a double in Round 5. Sandy Wednesdays nearly caught them with their own double in Round 6 to pull within two points, but they couldn't quite close the gap. Hoof Hearted finished third with 54, while St Luke's I Love It and Have You Met My Annoying Friend, Bill finished fourth and fifth as their Hail Mary double attempts in round 7 were unsuccessful.

Scientology.org racked up an incredible 81 points thru 6 rounds--doubling rounds 2,3,5, & 6--so they were virtually certain to win going into the final round (they led by 11 over the also-impressive General Kumar and the Legion of Doom at 70). It was a good thing, too, because they managed 0 correct answers in round 7! 

Merchant Girlypops finished third with 57, while One More Time??? finished fourth but took the drinking round.

A fast start this week, with three teams doubling round one. Sandy Wednesdays held the lead by one thru three rounds, but General Kumar and the Legion of Doom passed them in the Guess Who round, then St Luke's I Love It jumped up to a share of the lead with a Round 5 double, and Drink Coffee at the Merchant leapt within striking distance with a Round 6 double, squeezing Sandy Wednesdays off the podium. St Luke's I Love It beat General Kumar and the Legion of Doom in a tiebreaker for the victory, with The Merchant a close third.
