Dogs: the Lost City, Pants!, and Giddy Up were locked in a three way tie for first after four rounds, but ESPN Shirt used a perfect round four and a doubled round 5 to take a five point lead. Drink Coffee at the Merchant also awoke after round four, however, and came back from a 12 point with doubles in both rounds 5 and 6 to take first place. Dogs won a tiebreaker to take second, and ESPN Shirt took third.

Uncut Gems won the drinking round, with the closest guess of the world's largest pumpkin.

The Duke Silver Backing Band didn't miss a question in the first three rounds, doubling twice, and held a commanding 8 point lead through 5 rounds. They were foiled by a failed double in round 6, mistaking Bruce Springsteen's autobiography (Born in the USA vs Born to Run). A flurry of successful doubles by Pup Trees, Drink Coffee at the Merchant, and Mike Tyson Speech School dropped them to fourth.

Mike Tyson's Speech School made up one point on Drink Coffee at the Merchant to tie it up in round 7, on the strength of their World Series losers knowledge, and they took the tiebreaker to emerge the champions. Pup Trees finished third.

Not only was this my first hosting Trivia at Rasselbock, this was my first time hosting King Trivia solo, and everyone was absolutely wonderful! The staff at Rasselbock were incredibly helpful and kind and the crowd was lively and chatty, making for an overall great night.

4 out of 5 teams doubled on the first round and won it all, putting Giddy Up, The Pujoles Supreme X-tacy, Pedestrian Agency, and Drink Coffee at the Merchant in a solid position to win, but the very next round Here for the Right Reasons pulled off a double or nothing putting them squarely in the lead!

Here for the Right Reasons held that lead all the way (with the other four teams breathing right down their necks) until the very end, when Drink Coffee at the Merchant aced the final round. Turns out the National Park theme was their forte, as team member Larry can name every single US National Park right off the top of his head!

Giddy Up managed to come in second, nailing every round with the exception of the Grey's Anatomy themed hand out in round 2. Here for the Right Reasons came in third, as National Parks turned out to be their kryptonite.
