About Rasselbock Kitchen & Beer Garden

We are striving to bring the best in fresh & authentic German cuisine to Long Beach. Our menu includes various versions of schnitzel, sausages, Bavarian pretzels and of course our famous apple strudel.

It also includes multiple vegetarian & vegan options and kid-friendly dishes.

Rasselbock, Kitchen & Beer Garden is located in Bixby Knolls, a beautiful neighborhood just 10 min from Downtown Long Beach.

We have a parking lot with over 40 spots behind the restaurant and free parking on Atlantic Ave for 2h. Rasselbock is a German restaurant and pub specializing in German food with a modern twist and freshly tapped German and Belgian beers since we opened in 2016. Featuring over 35 German and Belgian beers, homemade sangrias and a great selection of German and Californian Wines.

A packed house tonight made for a great night of pre-4th of July trivia! Teams scrambled for points after multiple teams doubled up in the first few rounds.

After a final tie breaker to determine 3rd place Dysfunctional Family, Marshall's Minions, & Stretch Pants claimed the coveted spots on the podium.

It was an great night and we all learned how many words are in the Declaration of Independence (1,458) so we can impress our friends at a bbq tomorrow.

Hammer Pants! and Higher! Further! Faster! jumped off to early leads this week, each doubling in round 1. Higher! Further! Faster! failed in their round two double attempt, setting them back momentarily before they eventually took the lead back with a round 5 double.

Lost in Trivia held third place for much of the game, while Drink Coffee at the Merchant plodded along in the bottom half of the leaderboard, until a round 6 double vaulted Merchant to within a point of third. They finished the comeback with the best score in the final round, and finished in third place. Higher! Further! Faster! and Hammer Pants! finished 1-2 in a triumph of the exclamation pointed teams.
