About Rasselbock Kitchen & Beer Garden

We are striving to bring the best in fresh & authentic German cuisine to Long Beach. Our menu includes various versions of schnitzel, sausages, Bavarian pretzels and of course our famous apple strudel.

It also includes multiple vegetarian & vegan options and kid-friendly dishes.

Rasselbock, Kitchen & Beer Garden is located in Bixby Knolls, a beautiful neighborhood just 10 min from Downtown Long Beach.

We have a parking lot with over 40 spots behind the restaurant and free parking on Atlantic Ave for 2h. Rasselbock is a German restaurant and pub specializing in German food with a modern twist and freshly tapped German and Belgian beers since we opened in 2016. Featuring over 35 German and Belgian beers, homemade sangrias and a great selection of German and Californian Wines.

Marshall's Minions reclaimed their title this week after last week's second place finish. They led this one start to finish, doubling in the first two rounds and then holding their lead.

Second place was up for grabs, with Takos, Pants!, and Everybody Shut Up so Larry Can Hear the Scores each making pushes for silver. 

In the end, Pants! overcame a round 5 Takos double to stay ahead and take second, with Takos in third.

We were back to pen and paper like the old days this week for a nostalgic night of trivia. Three teams attempted and lost double-or-nothings in the first round, leading to some suppressed early scores. Browntown took the lead and held it through four rounds, but had to leave early to put a kiddo to bed, allowing some other teams to make runs. And make runs they did--Where's Brandon and I Awake from my Dream in a Minefield each doubled round 5 to jump ahead of the pack, then Minefield doubled again in Rd 6 to take a 16 point lead into the final round. Then Brandon doubled the final round (brain lobes and Rocky Mtn states) to make it interesting--but Minefield got just enough to eek out the victory.
