About Rasselbock Kitchen & Beer Garden

We are striving to bring the best in fresh & authentic German cuisine to Long Beach. Our menu includes various versions of schnitzel, sausages, Bavarian pretzels and of course our famous apple strudel.

It also includes multiple vegetarian & vegan options and kid-friendly dishes.

Rasselbock, Kitchen & Beer Garden is located in Bixby Knolls, a beautiful neighborhood just 10 min from Downtown Long Beach.

We have a parking lot with over 40 spots behind the restaurant and free parking on Atlantic Ave for 2h. Rasselbock is a German restaurant and pub specializing in German food with a modern twist and freshly tapped German and Belgian beers since we opened in 2016. Featuring over 35 German and Belgian beers, homemade sangrias and a great selection of German and Californian Wines.

A big crowd came out for trivia at the Biergarten this week, with 13 sizeable teams squaring off. 

Hot Dog Facial won with an astounding 86 points after doubling in rounds 2, 5, and 7. Geeks Who Drink elected not to double their perfect final round,  costing them the title as they finished with 78. QMMF finished third, a point ahead of Drink Coffee at the Merchant, who had mounted a furious comeback to get to 4th place.

The Dodgers Wild Card game may have siphoned off much of the typical Wednesday crowd, but the competition that remained was as fierce as ever! Jolly Hollies and Marshall's Minions were the only teams to stay til the end, but both scored higher than any team the previous two weeks. Minions led the whole game after a doubled first round, but Hollies won with a daring double on round 7 to overcome a 4 point deficit.

Our third different champion in the three weeks since our return, Paddington 3 took the lead with a round 2 double and never gave it up, finishing with 67 points for a 5 point victory.

Marshall's Minions kept their podium streak alive with a second place finish (following a third and a second the previous two weeks). Pants! took third with 53, and Team Get in the Van won the drinking round.
