About Rasselbock Kitchen & Beer Garden

We are striving to bring the best in fresh & authentic German cuisine to Long Beach. Our menu includes various versions of schnitzel, sausages, Bavarian pretzels and of course our famous apple strudel.

It also includes multiple vegetarian & vegan options and kid-friendly dishes.

Rasselbock, Kitchen & Beer Garden is located in Bixby Knolls, a beautiful neighborhood just 10 min from Downtown Long Beach.

We have a parking lot with over 40 spots behind the restaurant and free parking on Atlantic Ave for 2h. Rasselbock is a German restaurant and pub specializing in German food with a modern twist and freshly tapped German and Belgian beers since we opened in 2016. Featuring over 35 German and Belgian beers, homemade sangrias and a great selection of German and Californian Wines.

The biggest trivia night ever at Rasselbock did not disappoint, with high scores, lead changes, and intense competition until the very end. 7 teams still had a chance at victory going into the final round, but it was Mike Tyson's Speech School that came away with the win, riding successful doubled in the first and sixth round, as well as a first-clue guess in round five. Omaxidor (among other elf names) pulled 2nd place with 66 points, and Dumpster Fire and Das Sweater Gurlz tied for third place at 60. Das Sweater Gurlz won on the tiebreaker by guessing more closely guessing the miles of New Jersey coastline (although 39 was a pretty iffy guess). Kluge Jungs captured the drinking round, guessing the Rotten Tomatoes score of 1933's The Robe, the lowest reviewed Golden Globe best picture winner ever.

We'll see if we can top the record 14 teams next Wednesday!

We started the year off right!! Many people came out and played a good game of trivia. Towards the end of the game we had a four way tie, but by the 7th round Quid Pro Paleo was took first place. The real winners however were the bartenders, they all collectively scored a date with Brent from Dim Bulbs with his drinking round pick up line!

Wild Danimals took the lead and held on to it. They finished first. LB and Trivia Amigos tied and it was LB that came closest to knowing the capacity of the Globe in London. Honorable mention to the good folks in The Bee's Knees. LB won the drinking round for their closest answer to the question, "How long did David Hasselhoff's hit, Looking for Freedom, last at number one on the German music charts?" The correct answer was eight by the way. Thanks as always to the Rasselbock for their delicious food and brews.
