About Rasselbock Kitchen & Beer Garden

We are striving to bring the best in fresh & authentic German cuisine to Long Beach. Our menu includes various versions of schnitzel, sausages, Bavarian pretzels and of course our famous apple strudel.

It also includes multiple vegetarian & vegan options and kid-friendly dishes.

Rasselbock, Kitchen & Beer Garden is located in Bixby Knolls, a beautiful neighborhood just 10 min from Downtown Long Beach.

We have a parking lot with over 40 spots behind the restaurant and free parking on Atlantic Ave for 2h. Rasselbock is a German restaurant and pub specializing in German food with a modern twist and freshly tapped German and Belgian beers since we opened in 2016. Featuring over 35 German and Belgian beers, homemade sangrias and a great selection of German and Californian Wines.

What a wonderful round of Trivia! The bar was overflowing with patrons eager to rack up prizes and shade their expertise of timely trivia. Only a few contestants complained about the validity of their answers (no, the scientific name for a Blu tang fish is not Dory from Finding Nemo) and the Rasselbock kitchen and beer garden provided guests with excellent food and beer.

Hopefully I'll get a chance to host at this bar again soon - until then, happy trivia!

A big crowd led to a hard-fought game of trivia this week at Rasselbock, with 11 teams within 20 points of third.

Ribets Rivn led from start to finish for the win, although Bad at Trivia made a valiant push to make it close. Third place was very much a tossup, but A Rabbi, Priest, and Larry Walk Into a Bar emerged in the end for Bronze, edging out Many Legged Pants! and Clouds.

7 Rings took the drinking round.

Tarakany Kharkiv carried the lead start to finish this week, doubling in rounds 1,2,5, & 6 to finish with a whopping 87 points. Marshall's Minions had three doubles of their own (and a fourth perfect round) to end in second with 76, and Jersey Girls came in third with a solid 71.
