QUIZ RECAP

'Twas a competitive night at Rasselback this week, with 6 teams entering the final round within striking distance.

Duke SIlver Backing Band had held the lead through the first four rounds, after a perfect first and a doubled 2nd. Try a Croissant at the Merchant eclipsed them with a doubled round 5. Newcomers Danky Kang moved into 2nd with the only double in round 6, but they fell three points short of the Merchant at the end. Duke Silver made a gutsy attempt at a double in the final round which would have made them the winner, but they fell one Will Smith movie short, costing them the podium. Danky Kang held onto second and Pants! finished third.

Danky Kang also won the drinking round, most closely guessing the number of views of Shape of You on Youtube (they were only off by 2,000,000,000).

NEED MORE NPR was clearly the powerhouse team to beat this night. They were the only team with 6 points in Round 1 and doubling down in Round 2 gave them a lead that others were unable to beat. MY EX-WIFE TOOK THE KIDS and THE DUKE SILVER BACKING BAND kept ahead of the pack, with all three teams doubling down in Round 5. The final round stumped most, but solidified the top three into their final places.

A big night at Rasselbock this week with some heavy hitters in the building, featuring several teams in the top-10 of King Trivia league play.

My Ex Wife Took the Kids jumped out to an early lead, which they held thru round 5, until Drink Coffee at the Merchant surpassed them with a doubled round 6. Giddy Up and Pants! likewise doubled, launching them toward 2nd and 3rd place finishes.
