QUIZ RECAP

Wild Danimals took the lead and held on to it. They finished first. LB and Trivia Amigos tied and it was LB that came closest to knowing the capacity of the Globe in London. Honorable mention to the good folks in The Bee's Knees. LB won the drinking round for their closest answer to the question, "How long did David Hasselhoff's hit, Looking for Freedom, last at number one on the German music charts?" The correct answer was eight by the way. Thanks as always to the Rasselbock for their delicious food and brews.

Lots of fun at Rasselbock. Mike Tython Thpeeth Thool dominated the night with strong scores even without doubling, they took first. Quid Pro Paleo was a force to be reckoned with. They doubled in the sixth round which gave them a big jump in their score and brought them up to second place. And the Dim Bulbs did shine brightly by coming in a close third mostly due to a good double in the 5th round that literally doubled their overall score. It was the Two Stooges that won the drinking round because they were closest in guessing the distance between Berlin, Germany and Long Beach, CA. Thank you to the good folks at Rasselbock for hosting us and providing all the delicious food and brews.

QUIZ RECAP

A tough set of questions made for the first double-free game in recent memory, leaving overall scores depressed (but not spirits!) across the board. Leaderless, Trivia Amigos, and Taco Cat jumped ahead early in the game, but it was Dim Bulbs' slow and steady approach that ended up claiming the victory at the end. After three teams guessed incorrectly on the Guess Who 10 point clue, Dim Bulbs was the only team to guess correctly after the 6-pointer, vaulting them into a tie of the lead. They'd took it outright in round 6 with a 9 point round, and they correctly named 7 of the top 10 selling car brands to hold onto their lead for the December 12th title. Taco Cat was 2 points back for 2nd place, and Leaderless squeaked out 3rd by one point over Wizard's Sleeve, to capture their fourth third place in a row.

Leaderless won the drinking round by exhibiting the best Santa Clause impression (after a Grinch tiebreaker), but graciously deferred to the second place team, Trivia Ta Tas.
