About Rasselbock Kitchen & Beer Garden

We are striving to bring the best in fresh & authentic German cuisine to Long Beach. Our menu includes various versions of schnitzel, sausages, Bavarian pretzels and of course our famous apple strudel.

It also includes multiple vegetarian & vegan options and kid-friendly dishes.

Rasselbock, Kitchen & Beer Garden is located in Bixby Knolls, a beautiful neighborhood just 10 min from Downtown Long Beach.

We have a parking lot with over 40 spots behind the restaurant and free parking on Atlantic Ave for 2h. Rasselbock is a German restaurant and pub specializing in German food with a modern twist and freshly tapped German and Belgian beers since we opened in 2016. Featuring over 35 German and Belgian beers, homemade sangrias and a great selection of German and Californian Wines.

Twas a topsy turvy game this week, with some late doubles or failed doubles leading to great shuffling of the standings.

Drink Coffee at the Merchant and Giddy Up led thru 5 rounds, but each unsuccessfully doubled, allowing the Duke Silver Backing Band, Fab 4, and Flying J to jump into the 1, 2, and 3 positions by all doubling . Duke Silver then doubled again in round 7 to secure a 14 point victory.

Fab 4 won the drinking round by most closely guessing the number of Magic Johnson's career turnovers.

Somebody done kitnapped all the teams!

Only four teams finished the game this week, but they were four excellent teams. A mere nine points separated them all heading into the final round, when every team attempted Double or Nothing. Three of them were successful, leaving Giddy Up as the champion, followed closely by Not as Good as You, then Bjorn Yesterday. The Duke Silver Backing Band was only one state-that-borders-New York away from second but, alas, finished outside the podium.

Congrats to our winners, and hopefully our dozen or so AWOL teams will be back next week!

Great fun night with lots of teams and players!

Everyone was super competitive and it was a close game. Throughout most the rounds, we had people who were tied for 2nd and 3rd place and the point difference between the 1st and 2nd place teams were maybe always 1 or 2 points.

3 teams doubled down on round 6, where they had to match the debut studio album to the artists, and they all got them correct!
