About Rasselbock Kitchen & Beer Garden

We are striving to bring the best in fresh & authentic German cuisine to Long Beach. Our menu includes various versions of schnitzel, sausages, Bavarian pretzels and of course our famous apple strudel.

It also includes multiple vegetarian & vegan options and kid-friendly dishes.

Rasselbock, Kitchen & Beer Garden is located in Bixby Knolls, a beautiful neighborhood just 10 min from Downtown Long Beach.

We have a parking lot with over 40 spots behind the restaurant and free parking on Atlantic Ave for 2h. Rasselbock is a German restaurant and pub specializing in German food with a modern twist and freshly tapped German and Belgian beers since we opened in 2016. Featuring over 35 German and Belgian beers, homemade sangrias and a great selection of German and Californian Wines.

Two familiar teams with new names found themselves again at the top of the leaderboard this week, posting the two highest scores of the year.

Why Yukiko Why and Tim and His Reluctant Stones each doubled four times, finishing with 94 and 86 points, respectively. Dangerous Nights Crew was up there with them until a failed double in round 7, but they still took 3rd by 20 points. Weiner Dogs went from last to 4th with a double in the final round.

Pants! came from behind with doubles in rounds 5 and 7 to take home this week's victory. Hot Dog Facial seemed firmly rooted in 2nd place after doubling in round 6, but That Jukebox From The Craft That Only Plays Connie Francis doubled in the final round to sneak past them for 2nd.

It was a big week for quitting while you're ahead--Team Charlie doubled the first round then stopped playing, and Duke & Dutch were in 1st place after 4 rounds, and had the closest drinking round guess, but left before even hearing the answer.

Marshall's Minions used doubles in rounds 1, 3, 5, and 6 to score an impressive victory. They were the only team to figure out the connection in a tough round 5. Don't Forget to Tip Your Quizmaster took a brief lead with a double-or-nothing naming SNL cast members in round 2, but they would fall behind as other teams doubled more aggressively. 

 

Sack Lunch doubled in round 6 to ascend into 2nd, as did Starmann+1 to force a tiebreaker for 3rd, which they narrowly lost to Dont Forget to Tip Your Quizmaster.
