A distinctive top tier of teams appeared this week in trivia, leaving no doubt who would make the final podium: the third place team had more than double the points of the 4th placers. 

Starmann +1 kept hopes alive for a perfect game for over half the night--they doubled the first three rounds, got the Guess Who on the first clue, and won the drinking round. The connection on round 5 evaded them, however, as did a couple answers on round 7. They finished with a very impressive 87 points. Guns N Roses played neck and neck with I’m larry and this is my brother Daryl and my other brother Darryl until round 5, when Guns created some separation with a double to land them in second place.

Jersey Girls got off to an incredible start and never let off the gas, coming away with a 10 point victory and an impressive 82 points. 

They doubled in rounds 1, 2, 3, and 6.

Larry, This is Our Team Name tried their best to catch up, and a narrowly-missed double in round 5 would have put them in first, but one missed question fpiled their plans and sent them to 3rd. 

Beitar Birobidzhan was a one-man wrecking crew, capturing second place.

Draft Drunk - "One More Stein" took the drinking round.

New Boos staked claim to an early lead with a 2nd round double and never gave it up, resulting in their first Rasselbock victory by a solid 8 points! 

Rehab is for Quitters held second most of the game, but were never able to gain much ground on New Boos.

Third place was very much up for grabs--only 4 points separated 3rd from 6th, and the 7th and 8th teams were one answer away from Doubling ahead of all of them.

In an amusing but unexciting finish, there were no order changes because every single team got exactly 9/10 in the final round, each of them incorrectly including Montana on the list of states with active volcanos.
