About Rasselbock Kitchen & Beer Garden

We are striving to bring the best in fresh & authentic German cuisine to Long Beach. Our menu includes various versions of schnitzel, sausages, Bavarian pretzels and of course our famous apple strudel.

It also includes multiple vegetarian & vegan options and kid-friendly dishes.

Rasselbock, Kitchen & Beer Garden is located in Bixby Knolls, a beautiful neighborhood just 10 min from Downtown Long Beach.

We have a parking lot with over 40 spots behind the restaurant and free parking on Atlantic Ave for 2h. Rasselbock is a German restaurant and pub specializing in German food with a modern twist and freshly tapped German and Belgian beers since we opened in 2016. Featuring over 35 German and Belgian beers, homemade sangrias and a great selection of German and Californian Wines.

Scores were quite a bit lower this week for the always-stellar field at Rasselbock Wednesday trivia, but that didn't mean competition wasn't as fierce as always.

Marshall's Minions wound up on top with 58 points, followed closely by Drink Coffee at the Merchant at 55 and DeTrees in the Forest at 50. DeTrees took the drinking round.

The first trivia night of 2020 was a rousing success, with numerous large, boisterous teams creating a raucous, competitive environment.

Six teams doubled in the first round, setting the stage for a high scoring contest. Team Get in the Van was the only to double again in round 2, getting them a lead they never relinquished. They doubled again in round 3 and 5 and got the Guess What round on the first clue, giving them a perfect score through 5 rounds. They finished with 90, comfortably defeating Drink Coffee at the Merchant at Marshall's Minions, who finished second and third with respectable 77 and 73 point totals.
