About Rasselbock Kitchen & Beer Garden

We are striving to bring the best in fresh & authentic German cuisine to Long Beach. Our menu includes various versions of schnitzel, sausages, Bavarian pretzels and of course our famous apple strudel.

It also includes multiple vegetarian & vegan options and kid-friendly dishes.

Rasselbock, Kitchen & Beer Garden is located in Bixby Knolls, a beautiful neighborhood just 10 min from Downtown Long Beach.

We have a parking lot with over 40 spots behind the restaurant and free parking on Atlantic Ave for 2h. Rasselbock is a German restaurant and pub specializing in German food with a modern twist and freshly tapped German and Belgian beers since we opened in 2016. Featuring over 35 German and Belgian beers, homemade sangrias and a great selection of German and Californian Wines.

The first show of 2022 had its share of excitement, with lead changes and a tight finish. 

Ruben Salgado and Team 28 leapt ahead of everyone early, but doubles in round 5 put And in First Place Is..., Higher! Further! Faster!, and  Der Backhendlfriedhof der Kerzlschlucker ahead of the them. Those three headed into the final round in a three way tie, but And in First Place Is... and Higher! Further! Faster! separated themselves in Round 7 and Higher! Further! Faster! took the tiebreaker in their first Rasselback appearance since 2019.

It was a tough night of questions, but the teams stepped up their games and brought the heat. What an amazing night of trivia that couldn't be decided in 7 rounds. We went down to a tiebreaker tonight but when the trivia dust settled, No Show beat out Please? and Dog Haus, who came in 2nd and 3rd. What an amazing way to cap off the year of trivia! Glad to be back, folks!
