About Hyperion Public - Silver Lake

We are your local neighborhood restaurant and bar where everyone is welcome hence the word "Public" in our name. Our restaurant has a rough luxe decor serving quality food and cocktails, a mix of craft and traditional beers, along with a good selection of wines, in a communal atmosphere. Hidden in the back of the restaurant is our upstairs bar and lounge also serving food and cocktails, that has a jukebox, dartboard, piano, mic, and TVs for sports (Sunday NFL Ticket).

Another great showing at Hyperion Public and Monday as these twelve teams showed up to compete. And despite how hard they tried, once again the winning team this week was PhDeez Nuts, who have won time and time again. It comes so naturally for them and they don't seem to be remotely tired of it. Behind them was Dead Weight with Trash Dogs at a very near second. Don't Go Jason Waterfalls took the drinking round with great aplumb, and I ate my chicken wings with great amess.

Holy mackerel, what a night of trivia at Hyperion Public! This was easily one of the highest scoring nights I've ever seen, both for a single team and the average amongst all teams. Double after double after double kicked these scores into the stratosphere to make for a truly exciting competition. In the end, by just two points, it was The Crescent Rolls who won, with a staggering 91 points. Just after them was An Officer and a Jen-Tileman, who put up an incredible showing. Even the winners of the drinking round, Dont' Go Jason Waterfalls, scored 12 out of 15 possible, making that an impressive feat as well. All in all, another great night with great people doing great things for great reasons.
