QUIZ RECAP

There was a lot of bold, Hail Mary doubling down at Hyperion Public on Monday night.  Most of that aggressive play is what allowed patient teams to bide their time and wait for the right time to strike; teams that had early leads suddenly fell behind as their strategies began to falter.  Pickle Rick, who even missed round 1, managed to catch up big time and with some clutch doubles, they took the first place prize.  Classic Little Lebowski's were hot on their heels, however, and sneaked in right behind for second.  Veggie Scrambles took the drinking round with a tie-breaking rock-paper-scissors, and A Mansion in Wiscansion had an unintelligible team name that I mispronounced every single time.  Good times bro, good times.

QUIZ RECAP

It was a very spooky trivia night down at Hyperion Public on Monday!  So many people came out in costumes and so many bonus points were awarded.  Definitely the best costume of the night goes to Brit, staff member of the bar, who dressed as country legend Patsy Cline.

The Skeletons managed to barely eke out a victory, both with a massive double in round 6 and so many bonus points via costume success.  Danger's Girls a.k.a. Pickle Rick (last week's victors) held fast to them for second place.  Classic Showponies taking the drinking round as they have so many times before.  All in all it was a truly fantastic night for trivia.

QUIZ RECAP

Sixteen teams came out to obliterate each other into dust on Monday at Hyperion Public.  Sixteen teams competed, but only two could take the top prizes.  Hot off of winning their soccer game, Pickle Rick put one in the corner to take first place.  Right behind them, Quizzie McQuire won a tie-breaker to just barely squeak by with second.  Next week I'm giving out bonus points for Halloween costumes, so if you're reading this, better break out the ol' Dracula fangs and Frankenstein bolts.  You want those points, dammit!
