About Hyperion Public - Silver Lake

We are your local neighborhood restaurant and bar where everyone is welcome hence the word "Public" in our name. Our restaurant has a rough luxe decor serving quality food and cocktails, a mix of craft and traditional beers, along with a good selection of wines, in a communal atmosphere. Hidden in the back of the restaurant is our upstairs bar and lounge also serving food and cocktails, that has a jukebox, dartboard, piano, mic, and TVs for sports (Sunday NFL Ticket).

Wowzers, another Monday, another trivia at Hyperion Public! These days, it's Dead Weight Maids-a-milking who are taking first place. Little Lebowski's Urban Achievers managed to sneak right into second, just eking out Bananas Foster who were tied for first all night. Holy Latke, Batman! What a night of trivia at Hyperion Public on this Monday night of Hanukkah. 14 teams showed up to flex their muscles, but only Solemn Bellydancers whipped out a round seven double to cause everyone to think twice about their life choices. I mean, the round was the four types of teeth and the five types of bones, who the hell knows that? How about the high school biology teacher on their team? She sure as shit knew the answer. It blew second place team Dead Weight Crazy Nights right off their first place perch. No biggie, they took the drinking round that was impossibly hard Beatles themed. It was my birthday on Sunday, I can make it about whatever I want and whatever I want is impossibly hard Beatles music trivia.
