About Hyperion Public - Silver Lake

We are your local neighborhood restaurant and bar where everyone is welcome hence the word "Public" in our name. Our restaurant has a rough luxe decor serving quality food and cocktails, a mix of craft and traditional beers, along with a good selection of wines, in a communal atmosphere. Hidden in the back of the restaurant is our upstairs bar and lounge also serving food and cocktails, that has a jukebox, dartboard, piano, mic, and TVs for sports (Sunday NFL Ticket).

Wowowow what a night, amirite? Sure, I've had a bunch of caffeine just right now, what you wanna do, fight about it? Speaking of fight, Crescent Rolls and Trash Dogs were locked neck and neck until right up to the very end, when Crescent Rolls pulled ahead dramatically. They also won the drinking round spelling bee, go figure. But hey, that's life. What you wanna do, fight about it?

Holy moly, what a turnout at Hyperion Public on Monday night. I guess after evading football, the nerds came out in full force. The Crescent Rolls managed to snag first with an impressive 99 points after the crushed three doubles in a row. Cream was not far behind at all with a very respectable 90 of their own. And surprise surprise, LLUA won the drinking round. But the real prize of my heart goes to Ford vs Guy Fieri with just the most incredible team name.

Despite the thunderous crowd upstairs and a slight change in venue, ten full teams still showed up to play trivia at Hyperion Public last night. It was a full house downstairs in the restaurant, as these teams competed for the gold. Wife Guys took an early and commanding lead and held on to it for the entire night, ending the bout with 82 points. LLUA caught up behind them right at the end to finish in second. Cream was the winner of the drinking round which was themed around Cats, and I had a lot of fun. Pretty standard stuff, really.
