We are your local neighborhood restaurant and bar where everyone is welcome hence the word "Public" in our name. Our restaurant has a rough luxe decor serving quality food and cocktails, a mix of craft and traditional beers, along with a good selection of wines, in a communal atmosphere. Hidden in the back of the restaurant is our upstairs bar and lounge also serving food and cocktails, that has a jukebox, dartboard, piano, mic, and TVs for sports (Sunday NFL Ticket).

Another Monday, another night of trivia at Hyperion Public! This time, the prophetically named Tha Winners actually won. It's very rare when a team names themselves something that cocky that they end up with the victory, but they did it this time! Seize the D rolled into second not too far behind them, and it was Club 1429 who took the drinking round with 14 out of 15 correct. But I think the true shoutout goes to Trivial Pantsuit, who doubled down on every single round but round 2 - and failed every time. They've got heart, though. Lots of heart.

Each team had to shake off the rust of the holidays as their trivia knowledge came flooding back to them at Hyperion Public on Monday. The lead fluctuated between many teams, with We're Only Here for the Fries taking a commanding start, but faltering later in the game. It was the quiet ninja assassin skills of Seize Lebowski's D that allowed them to creep up behind Dead Weight Becomes Her and silently slit their throats. By a single point. It's the most brutal trivia death one can imagine. They also won the drinking round, just to add insult to injury. But hey, there's always next week!

Welcome back and Happy New Year to all the teams who come out and play at Hyperion Public on Monday nights!

Last night, New Year But I Still Hate Myself took an early and commanding lead and managed to hang on to it all night. Dudes at the Bar were able to slowly catch up from a distant third to steal a tie-breaking win from 6 Dope Queens - always the bridesmaids. Dudes at the Bar even took the drinking round, to add insult to injury. Love to be back at the greatest trivia night in LA!
