About Hyperion Public - Silver Lake

We are your local neighborhood restaurant and bar where everyone is welcome hence the word "Public" in our name. Our restaurant has a rough luxe decor serving quality food and cocktails, a mix of craft and traditional beers, along with a good selection of wines, in a communal atmosphere. Hidden in the back of the restaurant is our upstairs bar and lounge also serving food and cocktails, that has a jukebox, dartboard, piano, mic, and TVs for sports (Sunday NFL Ticket).

Another killer night of trivia at Hyperion Public on Monday night! Pringles, formerly Dirt Parade, managed to sneak ahead right at the end of the night and just barely eke out a win. Dead Weight moved in swiftly behind them to take second. And it was Veggie Scrambles who took the drinking round out of a heated three-way tie breaker. All in all a great night!

First off, it's great to be back. It feels a bit strange to miss a week, knowing all these great people are sitting at the bar just pining for me. Really, truly yearning for me to return and show them all a great time. I mean, I do what I do; can I help it if the people love me so darn much?

Secondly, a huge congrats goes out to DALE! for their first ever victory at Hyperion Public. These two dudes managed to dive into first after a dramatic round 7 double, based solely on their love of football. These guys more than earned it, which makes me feel like more of an idiot because I totally forgot to take their picture. So instead, I posted a picture of Chip and Dale from Disney, hoping that in some way would make up for it. Periodic Table Dancers took their second consecutive second, and it was Distracted by Chive that nailed the drinking round with songs all about missing someone. How apt, huh?

Memorial Day evening was a fun, laid back night of Trivia at Hyperion Public Silver Lake with 5 extremely strong teams. Dragon Energy + Weight Loss Lollipops earned a free round of drinks after guessing the closest to how many points LeBron James has scored in the playoffs this year(everyone guessed under!), and Periodic Table Dancers narrowly edged out Quiztopher Guess for our 2nd place prize. In the end, the regulars, Little Lebowski's Urban Achievers took home the grand prize and bragging rights for the week!
