About Hyperion Public - Silver Lake

We are your local neighborhood restaurant and bar where everyone is welcome hence the word "Public" in our name. Our restaurant has a rough luxe decor serving quality food and cocktails, a mix of craft and traditional beers, along with a good selection of wines, in a communal atmosphere. Hidden in the back of the restaurant is our upstairs bar and lounge also serving food and cocktails, that has a jukebox, dartboard, piano, mic, and TVs for sports (Sunday NFL Ticket).

On Monday night at Hyperion Public, the Trivia Besties returned to defend their title.  Unfortunately, they were met with the combined wrath of Little Lebowski's and Seize the D, who formed the Megazord of trivia teams known as Seize Lebowski's D, and absolutely shredded the competition.  Three successful doubles catapulted them straight to first, with Never Been Brissed truly not too far behind.  It was Harriet Beecher Stove, however, who took the drinking round home (not literally because we're in a bar) for the second week in a row.  Props to all teams!  See you in a few weeks!

Another 17 teams showed up to share their trivia knowledge at Hyperion Public on Monday night.  Lots of fresh, new faces made their presences known.  Trivia Besties were first time players at HP and the first place winners as well.  The First Jedi have come once or twice before, but never placed second like they did on Monday.  But truly the real props go to Jesse from Stove-Burger in Paradise, who did his best Jar Jar Binks impression to win the drinking round.  Every patron was in awe when he got up on the mic, so good job Jesse!

A record was definitely set at Hyperion Public on Monday, as we started out the evening with 21 teams competing!  We ended with 19, but even still that far outstrips the numbers we've ever seen there.  And with dozens of teams clashing, you know who emerged the victor? Out of all the teams, new and old, who do you think won?
