About Hyperion Public - Silver Lake

We are your local neighborhood restaurant and bar where everyone is welcome hence the word "Public" in our name. Our restaurant has a rough luxe decor serving quality food and cocktails, a mix of craft and traditional beers, along with a good selection of wines, in a communal atmosphere. Hidden in the back of the restaurant is our upstairs bar and lounge also serving food and cocktails, that has a jukebox, dartboard, piano, mic, and TVs for sports (Sunday NFL Ticket).

It's great to be back in a new year - in a new decade, even - at Hyperion Public! So many regulars were there to usher in a new era trivia gaming and I could definitely feel the love in the room. After many back and forths, the winning team emerged as Wife Guys, with Cream so unbelievably close behind. Hyperion Pube-lick (which is the best team name pretty much ever) won the drinking round after a rock paper scissors tie breaker. And I got to rant about the movie, Cats, like, a lot. It was a great night all around.

What a great way to end a year - nay, a decade - with trivia and friends! It has been an honor to host trivia at Hyperion Public for nearly three years. I've made some incredible friends along the way, shared a lot of laughs, and created many, many nights of long-lasting memories. Put on your yarmulkes, here comes trivia. I hope I get a harmonica, on this lovely, lovely trivia!

Despite Hanukkah, despite Christmas, we still had ten teams show up to play at Hyperion Public on Monday night. Out of those ten teams, just Call Me By Your Team Name won the grand prize. Pickle Party finally got their name up on that score board after a year or so of trying, and Lando California won the drinking round all by himself. All in all, a pretty good night!
