About Hyperion Public - Silver Lake

We are your local neighborhood restaurant and bar where everyone is welcome hence the word "Public" in our name. Our restaurant has a rough luxe decor serving quality food and cocktails, a mix of craft and traditional beers, along with a good selection of wines, in a communal atmosphere. Hidden in the back of the restaurant is our upstairs bar and lounge also serving food and cocktails, that has a jukebox, dartboard, piano, mic, and TVs for sports (Sunday NFL Ticket).

Another night, another exciting trivia showdown at Hyperion Public. After many, many weeks from the victory spotlight, PhDeeznuts took home a gold after scoring a titillatingly high score of 97 points. Not to be outdone, Cronny is Dead Weight nipped at their heels all night, coming in just behind them with 95 points. It was an exceptionally well played evening of trivia, even the winners of the drinking round Blowie & The Hootfish scored 28 out of 30 on their win. 'Grats all around!

What a great turnout after a long hiatus at Hyperion Public on Monday night! It was wonderful to see everyone's beautiful faces, so bright and excited for trivia, only to have them become crestfallen once they realized they could not catch up to the Von Trapp Family's knowledge and mastery. This fearsome fivesome dominated the competition from round 5 on, and perennial favorites Dead Weight could do nothing to deter them. Even the Lebowski's hiding as PhDeeznuts were powerless against them. But Dead Weight was not too worried, as they'd won the drinking round with a perfect score and tie-breaking win of rock, paper, scissors.

We had a merry Christmas Eve game tonight as champions emerged & claimed their presents! Let's get into it!

Jo's Ho Ho Hoes showed us an amazing display as they snagged 3rd despite joining the game in round 4 with 2 successful doubles in a row (the only team with 2 doubles)! They take the bronze!

Stalking Stuffers had a decent showing tonight, which included a successful double in round 6 which almost threw them into the lead. However they did slightly worse then Son of Santa in the last round & stayed in 2nd, where they would finish, taking the silver!

Son of Santa had some fantastic rounds tonight, which included 2 perfect rounds & a successful double in round 1. The double in round 1 would prove to be enough to keep them above water as they never lost the lead the entire game. They finish in 1st, take the gold, & are the champions of the night!
