QUIZ RECAP

Boy did we have a fun show on Wednesday night at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills! It was a more intimate show, not only due to the size of the crowd, but just check out those pictures above! We were getting sexy up in there!

For the Drinking Round, teams had to send two players up to compete in a little race. One team member had to hold an empty toilet paper roll between their legs. The other team member however, on "GO" had to crouch down, and only using his legs, had to pick up a plunger between them, and then run around the bar with the plunger still between their legs, and then once they made the journey around the bar, had to get the end of the plunger into the empty toilet paper roll between their teammate's legs. You can see why it got so intimate now can't you? It was a close Drinking Round as both teams, Pepe Silvia and J + C were able to do this in less than 30 seconds, but J + C came out on top doing it in 22 seconds! They one the round of shots for their team, but quizmaster Danny was able to make sure Pepe Silvia got some shots too!

Coming in 1st place for King Trivia was our always top three team, Burning the Midnight Toast who scored 49 points, and took home the $30.00 gift certificate! Awesome job! 

Not far behind were the Bionic Beavers who scored 41 points and took home the $20.00 gift certificate. Great job you guys!

And winning the booby prize, you guessed it, the Plunger from the Drinking Round, was team Houston, We Have an Answer who scored 39 points!

QUIZ RECAP

What an awesome night of King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills on Wednesday night! We played some beer pong, identified celebrity signatures, matched featured artists to their songs, and learned more about Anya Taylor-Joy! 

For the Drinking Round, teams sent up one player to play a round of beer pong. Each player had 5 attempts to try and throw their ping pong ball into either of two cups filled with water. Whichever ever team did it in the least amount of attempts would win the round of shots for their team. It came down to two teams, Dynamoes and Trivia Schmivia who tied with 2 attempts to make it in. So we had a sudden death head to head match up, and Dynamoes was able to get the ping pong ball in the cup first to win the round of shots for her team! Way to go!

At the end of the evening, two teams were tied for 2nd and 3rd place, Hanky Panky, and Bifocals each ended the night with 67 points. So they had a tiebreaker question to decide the winner. They had to answer to the closest dollar, how much money Wal-Mart made in 2022. Bifocals guessed the closest to the correct answer and took home the $20 gift certificate for 2nd place, and Hanky Panky took home the 3rd place prize of $10 gift certificate. 

Just edging out both teams by one point, were the Headscratchers, who scored 68 points and won the $30 gift certificate! What an awesome job!

QUIZ RECAP

Holy crap! I literally saw someone overhand a marshmallow directly into someone's mouth from like 8 feet away. I've never seen anything like it before in my life! What does this have to do with King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills? Well for starters, this happened there, and if you weren't there, you freaking missed it!

So, I thought a game of tossing a marshmallow into a teammates's mouth was going to be a nice and easy, semi uneventful Drinking Round, but I'm so glad I saw something I would never see again! Badabing came up, they were the third team to go, I tried timing it, and I think it took them 1.18 seconds to do it! Since it was a timed game, everyone else that hadn't gone knew they weren't going to beat that, and that was that! Badabing won the round of shots for their team! Much deserved!

Team Baseball Babes Rock won the third place prize of a $10 gift certificate by scoring 68 points!

Badabing not only won the Drinking Round in impressive fashion, they also scored 71 points and won a $20 gift certificate by wlcoming in 2nd place!

And Burning the Midnight Toast, one of Pickwick's powerhouse trivia teams won 1st place again scoring 72 points! Way to go!
