QUIZ RECAP

We were able to get a little distraction from all the fires in LA by a night of King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills on Wednesday night! 8 teams came out to answer questions about anchors and their shows, High Laurie, tiny things, and cheese! 

For the Drinking Round teams faced off head to head with a game of Rock Paper Scissors. Hanky Panky came out on top and won the round of shots. 

They also took home the first place prize scoring 53 points! 

Coming in second were The Little Winkies! They took home the $15 gift certificate 2nd prize scoring 40 points!

QUIZ RECAP

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! This is the final recap for King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills before the long winter sleep! That's because this was the last trivia night for a couple weeks until after the holidays! And boy did we go out in style!

Teams answered questions about famous philanthropists, highest ranked colleges, Indian tribes, and there was even some rhyming answers! It was a blast!

For the Drinking Round, teams competed in a timed competition called "Geese a'laying", where one member of each team would get a Christmas Ornament and put it between their legs, and they had to waddle around the bar with it, and then lay it onto a small plate on the ground to stop the clock. Whichever team did it the fastest would win the round of shots for whomever was drinking on their team. Sydney's Mob set the bar high with a time under 22 seconds, but ultimately, team Jingle These Bells won the game with a sub 19 second time! They won the round of shots! Ho ho ho!

They also took the second place prize for the evening scoring a whopping 63 points!! Quite the evening for Jingle These Bells!

Coming in third place scoring 62 points and taking home the $10 gift certificate prize was Hanky Panky! 

And last but not least, our 1st place team, winners of the $30 gift certificate and scoring a whopping 70 points, team Sydney's Mob! Merry Christmas!! 

It was quite the evening! We're sad that we won't have two weeks of trivia, but we hope everyone enjoys the Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, and New Year's Eve holidays coming up! We'll be back after the holidays for more King Trivia on 1/8/2025! QUIZ RECAP

What a packed house for Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills for King Trivia on Wednesday night! The whole bar was full of enthusiastic players ready to answer questions about James Bond movies, fast food chicken joints, famous halls, grains, and 2020's game shows! Quite a mixed bag! 

For the Drinking Round, teams sent up two players to play. One player had to toss mini marshmallows to their teammate and whichever team could catch the most marshmallows in a row in their mouth, would win the round of shots. With an impressive streak of 4, Pepe Silvia won the Drinking Round and the round of shots for their team!! 

Coming in third place with 68 points was team No L's who didn't take the L, but instead won the $10 gift certificate!

In second place scoring a whopping 70 points making their grand return to Pickwick's after a little bit of absence, was team Concepts of Burnt Toast! They won the $20 gift certificate!

Last but not least, leaders yet again, Hanky Panky scored 78 points to dominate first place and took home the $30 gift certificate! What a game!
