QUIZ RECAP

King Trivia on Wednesday night at Pickwick's Pub was another awesome night with a bar filled with cool people. You're really missing out if you aren't there on Wednesday nights!

For the drinking round, teams had to do their best to try and guess the TV Show based on the 20 theme songs played. Whoever got the most of them right, would win the drinking round and a round of shots for their team. Killing it getting 17 of the 20 correct was team 60% of the Time We Win Everytime, who also took the third place prize after guessing incorrectly on a tie breaker question at the end of the night.

Their challenger were the Mighty Mighty Puffins who took 2nd place after guessing the closest number for the tie breaker question. Both teams finished the night with 43 points.

But no one could catch the Survivors who started the night in the lead by one point in round 1, and were never passed by any other team. The Survivors finished the night with 49 points.

QUIZ RECAP

Woot woot! Another packed Pickwick's Pub for King Trivia on Wednesday night! 9 teams battled it out for 3 prizes and a round of shots. The questions at times were tough, but that didn't mean it wasn't a ton of fun!

For the drinking round, teams had to send one player up to blow up a balloon, tie it on the end of a string, and then tie the string on to their ankle. Once every team had a balloon tied to their ankle, Quizmaster Danny would say go and each person would have to try and pop their opponents' balloons before their balloon was popped. Whoever had the last balloon still on their ankle would win the drinking round. And coming out on top was Car Ram Rod. You can check out a video of the drinking round here.

Not only did Car Ram Rod win the drinking round, but they also came in third place with 54 points at the end of the night!

In second place were The Mighty Mighty Puffins with 59 points who just couldn't ever catch up to the first place team, Pogue Mahoney, who just edged them out with 60 points. Pogue Mahoney was down for the first two rounds, but after a second successful double in round 3, they couldn't be caught.  The closest the Puffins could get to was within 1 point in the final round. What a nail biter! Had their been one more round, maybe things would have been different!

QUIZ RECAP

Man oh man! What a packed house it was for King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub on Wednesday night! 14 teams and 65 people packed it out to win 3 prizes and a possible round of shots.

For the drinking round, teams had to send up two players. One had to hold a pen with a toilet paper roll on it, while the other player had to use their head and nose to empty the roll of toilet paper. See the pictures, and for a video of the game, check here. Winning the drinking round was Miraval Bitches!

As for the trivia portion of the game, The Survivors, a twice a week trivia going team (they also play at the White Harte on Tuesday nights), came in third place with 62 points after two successful double downs and  strong rounds 6 and 7.

In second was team You Can't Sit With Us, who were mostly standing throughout the night. They had 63 points and battled it out for first for every round.  Thanks to Mike on the team for the drinking round video!

Last but not least, in first place were The Renaissance Women,  who dominate whenever they play.  They finished the night with 64 points!

It was a super close night of Trivia as all three of the top teams finished within 1 point of each other! I hope it's as packed as last week! See you Wednesday for more King Trivia!
