QUIZ RECAP
Well, I could be wrong, because I've been hosting King Trivia for a very long time, but I don't think I've ever seen this happen before, either playing or as a quizmaster, but on Wednesday night at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills, one team answered EVERY QUESTION CORRECTLY!! But first, let me tell you about the rest of the night...
We had a drinking round! We always do, but Wednesday's Drinking Round was all about..... Drumroll please... DRINKING ROUNDS! That's right, each team had to come up with their most unique ideas for a Drinking Round game! Not original? Boring Drinking Round you say? Well after about 500-600 shows hosted, it's tough to have an original game each week. So I cheated a bit and had each team try and come up with some. And I got some pretty good suggestions! See all ideas in the pics above! The winners, Hanky Panky, won the Drinking Round of Drinking Rounds with their suggestion, a solo cup stacking competition to see who could stack a pyramid with solo cups the fastest, but with a twist, using two people from each team only able to stack them using a rubber band held by both of them to pick up the cups. No hands allowed!!! We will try all these suggestions in the next few weeks! Thanks for the suggestions everyone!
Scoring 64 points was good enough to earn team Here For the Beer ? ? more than just a few ???, because they won the third place prize of a $10 gift certificate as well!
In second place, our Drinking Round stars, Hanky Panky, also killed it with 80 points, and won not only a free round of shots of Evan Williams, but also a $20 gift certificate! Woohoo!!!
And for the moment you've all been waiting for, more on the team with all the answers correct. I know what you're first thought is, "THEY WERE CHEATING!!!" All the jealous teams say this all the time about really smart teams. But the Mighty Mighty Puffins, are always bringing the hard competition, and almost every week they play, are in the top 3, but usually come in 1st or 2nd! And I can vouch for them that they have never ever cheated. They just know their $#!+ !!! So way to go again to the Mighty Mighty Puffins! They didn't double in the first round, and they got the Guess Who Round 4 answer on the 8 point clue, otherwise they would have perfectly scored the night! Still, what an accomplishment!!!

QUIZ RECAP
Each week coming to host King Trivia @ Pickwick's Pub is one of the highlights of my week! It's so great to see everyone smiling faces and to see everyone so excited to play and test their knowledge! If you've never been to King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub or any King Trivia before, you really are doing yourself a disservice! Why not try and come out to Pickwick's Pub on Wednesday night at 8 to see for yourself?!
This week we had another rock paper scissors tournament for the drinking round and the Mighty Puffins survived 5 rounds of best 2 out of 3 to secure their free shots!
And not only that, but they also won the first place prize and the $30 gift certificate for scoring 74 points during the game! Way to go guys!
Coming in second place just edging out of the two third place teams was Hair is Not an Option scoring 54 points! Another strong showing you two! Way to go!
And for third place, we had a tie between Hanky Panky and Diversity Poster who both scored 53 points! For the tiebreaker question they had to guess how many dollar bills were printed by the Federal Reserve in 2017. Both teams guessed 2,000,000,000 so had to both change to a different number so Hanky Panky guessed 2.8 billion, and Diversity Poster guessed 2.5 billion, and the correct answer was 2.1! Wish I could have given you both the 3rd place prize, but ultimately, Diversity Poster took home the $10 gift certificate for their team! Awesome job to everyone!

QUIZ RECAP
Holy standing-room-only King Trivia night Batman! 70 players came out to Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills on Wednesday night to play for the top three spots to win gift certificate prizes and possibly a round of shots! It was nuts!
For the Drinking Round, each team sent up a player to play for the round of shots. Going head-to-head, those players had to take a pen that was tied to a string to their back center belt loop and try to get it inside the top of a wine bottle the fastest. See the pictures above to see what I'm talking about. With a blisteringly fast 10.23 seconds, The Stick Pickles killed it to win the round of shots for their team! Way to go!
Coming in third place scoring a whopping 68 points and winning the tiebreaker was Alternative Facts! They faced off against team Boner Thugz N Harmony and had to answer a final tiebreaker question about what the record was for total number of push-ups done continuously. The answer was 10,507!!! That is nuts! But Alternative Facts guessed the closest to that correct answer and won the $10 gift certificate for their team! Way to go guys!
Coming in second place, just edging out both Boner Thugz N Harmony and Alternative Facts, was ironically, team And in First Place, who scored 69 points to take home the $20 gift certificate! Whoop whoop!
Finally, scoring a whopping 82 points, were who else but the constantly tough team to beat, the Mighty Mighty Puffins! Another great showing and 3 successful double downs, including for the last two rounds, propelled them to victory! Congrats!!
