QUIZ RECAP

Man oh man! What a packed house it was for King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub on Wednesday night! 14 teams and 65 people packed it out to win 3 prizes and a possible round of shots.

For the drinking round, teams had to send up two players. One had to hold a pen with a toilet paper roll on it, while the other player had to use their head and nose to empty the roll of toilet paper. See the pictures, and for a video of the game, check here. Winning the drinking round was Miraval Bitches!

As for the trivia portion of the game, The Survivors, a twice a week trivia going team (they also play at the White Harte on Tuesday nights), came in third place with 62 points after two successful double downs and  strong rounds 6 and 7.

In second was team You Can't Sit With Us, who were mostly standing throughout the night. They had 63 points and battled it out for first for every round.  Thanks to Mike on the team for the drinking round video!

Last but not least, in first place were The Renaissance Women,  who dominate whenever they play.  They finished the night with 64 points!

It was a super close night of Trivia as all three of the top teams finished within 1 point of each other! I hope it's as packed as last week! See you Wednesday for more King Trivia!

Another fun night at Pickwick's Pub on Wednesday night for King Trivia!

For the drinking round, each team had to send one member to compete in a tournament style game of War where they would turn over cards until one matched,  then deal 3 down and one up and whomever had the highest card would move on to the next round. Coming out on top and winning the War and a round of shots were Hanky Panky!

In third place after a tiebreaker question were the Survivors (who actually were in a tiebreaker the night before at the White Harte for Tuesday night's King Trivia) with 53 points!

In second after the tiebreaker question were the Dirty Covfefes also with 53 points.

And in First place, always a strong team, usually in the winners circle, were The Mighty Mighty Puffins who scored a whopping 65 points!

QUIZ RECAP

Well, Wednesday is over and the Memorial Day weekend is almost upon us! But that didn't stop 8 teams and about 45 people battle it out to win some gift certificates, and a round of shots.

In the drinking round, teams had to take a silk stocking with a baseball in a leg, put it on their head, and when I said, "Go" the team member would have to run around the bar, and then use their head to move the silk stocking with the baseball and knock down a water bottle. Once they knocked one over, they had to run back around the bar and knock over another water bottle. Teams had to do this 5 times and then knock over a wine bottle. Doing it the fastest was "I Refuse to Say this Team Name" won with the fastest time of 1:05.86 seconds.

Coming in third place was Hanky Panky with 49 points. Just edging them out with 50 points was I Refuse to Say This Team Name. In first place again was the Mighty Mighty Puffins with a whopping 70 points!
