QUIZ RECAP

What fun every Wednesday night is when there's King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub! There was a packed bar full of eager trivia fiends with useless, or in this case, not useless knowledge ready to answer some questions, hoping to win that sweet, sweet Pickwick's cashish!

We had an awesome Drinking Round where teams had to guess different artists with numbers in their names, based on a clip of one of their songs. Which, came down to a tiebreaker between a dj and your regular Joe, with the regular Joe of Trivialize Me winning shots for his team! 

Trivialize Me also took home the first place prize of a $30 gift certificate to the pub! Killed it tonight!

At the end of the game we had a tie between Birb City and The Bunny Kweens who both scored 56 points! So we had to have a Tiebreaker Question! Both teams sent up their best player to try and get the closest to the correct answer. They had to guess how many words were in the Oxford English Dictionary! I won't spoil the answer for you, but it's a heck of a lot of words! The Bunny Kweens guessed closest to the correct answer and took home the 2nd place prize and The Birbs walked away with the 3rd place gift certificate!

QUIZ RECAP

It was a more intimate evening at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills last night for King Trivia as some of our regular teams were out, but nonetheless, we had as much fun as always!

For the Drinking Round, teams had to choose a member of their team to compete in a "Minute to Win It" game where they place a silk stocking with a baseball in one of the legs, onto their heads, and try to swing the legging back and forth to knock over 6 water bottles set up on the ground. Whoever did that the fastest would win the Drinking Round and a round of shots for their team. It was a blast! Ralph and Princess Vanelope won the Drinking Round with a whopping time of 13.49 seconds! Amazing job!

Coming from third place to jump into the 2nd place position on the final round was team Fact to the Future who took that spot after Hanky Panky tried to unsuccessfully Double or Nothing on the final round of the game. So Fact to the Future leapfrogged them with their 46 points and took home the $20 gift certificate!

And leading from start to finish, coming in first place and taking home the $30 gift certificate, was team My Favorite Star Wars Character is Captain Picard! Awesome job even though as a Star Wars fan I could hardly make it through saying your whole team name the entire evening!

QUIZ RECAP

We had another fun night of trivia Wednesday night at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills! 

For the Drinking Round teams had to identify the movie from which 15 seconds of music were played. There were ten clips of music that were played and whoever got the most movies identified correctly from the snippets of music played would win the round of shots for their team. Hanky Panky was the winner of the Drinking Round guessing 9/10 correct!

Coming in 3rd place last night and scoring 50 points was Team Big PP! They took home the $10 gift certificate! Awesome!

In second place and taking home the $20 gift certificate, scoring a whopping 59 points, was Cunt Punch! Way to go!

And in first place, always challengers for the top prize at Pickwick's, was team Bristol Fashion! They scored a humongous 63 points and took home the $30 gift certificate! Amazing job Bristol Fashion!
