QUIZ RECAP

We were "roll"ing in good fun on Wednesday night for King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills!

As you can tell from the pictures, I'm talking toilet paper roll-ing in good fun! For the Drinking Round, teams sent up 2 members to compete for a round of shots! The goal of the game was to stack as many toilet paper rolls horizontally as possible between one hand of each player. Whoever got the most without dropping them in 3 seconds would win! For a while Fact to the Future and Elucidrunk were tied at 8 rolls, but then, the Bionic Beavers came in and knocked them both out with 9 rolls! Way to go! 

We also had to have a tiebreaker for the 3rd place prize of a $10 gift certificate between Fact to the Future and Poison Ivy because after 7 rounds, both teams were tied with 65 points! They had to guess the closest year to when Frank Sinatra got married to one of his wives or something like that, and Fact to the Future guessed closest to the right answer to win 3rd place! Woot woot!

Coming in 2nd place, was Taking Care of Quizness! They scored 68 points and took home the $20 gift certificate! Super!

Then, rising from the ashes of a failed double or nothing earlier in the game, a successful double or nothing in the final round, Headscratchers wound up with an amazing 70 points and took home the 1st place prize, a $30 gift certificate! Freaking amazing!

QUIZ RECAP

Man oh man! King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills on Wednesday night was a blast! From fad toys, to sports jargon that sounded like sexual innuendo, we had it all!

For the Drinking Round, teams sent up a player who knew their Trader Joe's knowledge. Each contestant had to guess one of the 40 products on Trader Joe's annual list of their most popular items, and oddly enough, Hanky Panky and the Renaissance Women really really knew their Trader Joe's products! Both contestants had seen the list when it had been released, so they got many products right, but ultimately, Renaissance Women basically had the list memorized! They won the Drinking Round and the round of shots for their team! Impressive!

But that's not all that was impressive, because Renaissance Women also scored a whopping 61 points to win the 1st place prize of a $30 gift certificate! Congrats!

Coming in 2nd place scoring am amazing 54 points, were the Headscratchers! They took home the $20 gift certificate! Way to go!

We had a blast for King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills on Wednesday night! 

For the Drinking Round, teams had to send up their best movie buff player to compete. Quizmaster Danny gave the first contestant a movie. That person then had to name an actor or actress from that movie. The next contestant had to name a movie that actor or actress was in and so on and so on. The last person left standing would win the drinking round. It came down to our last two teams Hanky Panky and Fact to the Future, with Hanky Panky winning the shots! 

Hany Panky also won 3rd place and the $10 gift certificate to the pub! Congrats on another rbog night!

Coming in 2nd was team #WheresLindz! They scored a whopping 65 points and took home the $20 Pickwick's Pub gift certificate! Woot woot!

Just edging them out with a 67 point performance, were The Old 76ers! They took 1st place for the night and we're rewarded with the $30 gift certificate! Super awesome! Congrats!
