QUIZ RECAP

New Year, New King Trivia game at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills! In fact every Wednesday night there's a new round of King Trivia to play! This week, while some of you were partied out from New Year's Eve, we were still partying!

Trivia players answered questions ranging from Lake Tahoe, to Popular Beverages, and even Breaking Bad!

For the Drinking Round, teams had to identify the name of the band or artist, and song on 8-bit cover versions of popular songs like, Working for the Weekend by, Loverboy, Jungle Love by Morris Day and the Time, even Mr. Rogers' Won't you be My Neighbor! Winning the drinking round getting 19 of a possible 20 correct was team Murphy! Way to go on winning those shots!

Coming in 3rd Place was Kars with a ''K", scoring 44 points and winning a $10 gift certificate!

Coming in Second Place with 50 points was team Kenneth Douglas McCarthy Jr. III! They got themselves a $20 gift cericertife!

And of course, last but not least, winners of the $30 gift certificate and scoring 65 points, was team The Formal Chickens! They took the lead in Round 6, and successfully doubled down in the final round to secure the win! Way to go!

QUIZ RECAP

Wednesday night was the day after Christmas, and even though Pickwick's Pub thought we wouldn't be having any trivia because they thought there wouldn't be any teams showing up to play, 8 teams still showed up, and so Quizmaster Danny went rogue and hosted a King Trivia game anyway! We didn't have a Drinking Round, and we only had one prize to give away, but the teams there didn't care. They showed up anyway because they wanted to play some awesome trivia, and Danny obliged!

Our winners of the rogue game was team Rogue One who scored 65 points. They were tied for the lead through the first 3 rounds of play, but fell a little behind in rounds 4 and 5, only to double successfully in round 6 and almost securing themselves the victory. Had it not been for some other teams doubling unsuccessfully in the final round, they wouldn't have won, but they came out on top and took home the only prize of the night! Congrats!

QUIZ RECAP

Twas the week before Christmas and all through the pub, festive trivia players were eager, and some were eating some grub. Ready to answer Christmas themed questions, and some dressed in their best holiday attire, see man dressed as Christmas Tree! There were Christmas themed questions, Holiday sweater themed drinking round, and a prom photo for the winners!

For the drinking round, teams had to design their best Ugly Christmas Sweaters! Whichever team had the best one would win the Drinking Round and a round of shots for their team. There were a lot of good submissions and several of them have been posted in the photos for your viewing. But the winners of the Drinking Round were Los Cool Arrows, who won with their "Chestnuts roasting" sweater, which had some nuts below a hole in the paper that would allow you to stick your finger through. It looked like a... well, you're smart, you get the picture, but if not, there's a picture of it above! Go check them out! Way to go Los Cool Arrows!

After a tie breaker question at the end of the night, Hanky Panky ended up in 3rd place and took home a $10 gift certificate, but at least they also have that cool Christmas Tree hoodie! Go check it out in the pictures!

Then, coming in second after a triumphant guess on the tie breaker question, were the Mighty Mighty Puffins! Both teams scored a whopping 72 points, but only MMP went home with the $20 gift certificate! Awesome job!

Finally, coming in first place, and posing in their winners photo as a prom picture, were Alternative Facts! They scored 80 points and went home with a $30 gift certificate! Yeaaahhhhhhh!
