QUIZ RECAP
Another Wednesday night King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub is in the books. Einstein's Dong Dong, a combo of two of the stronger teams at Pickwick's who were both missing team members joined together to dominate the entire night, taking the 1st place prize leading all night long starting with a succesful double down on the first round. Gin Soaked Bar Maids, another consistently strong team from week to week took the second place prize as they were battling Einstein's Dick for the top spot all night long, and came within 4 points of taking the 1st place prize. 3rd place prize went to Mildings after they successfully answered the 10 point clue in Round number 4. They came close to the 2nd place prize by 2 points. The drinking round tonight was also fun as one player from each team lined up to throw 3 darts with their non dominate hands to see who would get the closest to the bullseye. After throwing 2 darts off the board, Einstein's Dong Dong's player got his last dart the closest the bullseye to also win the drinking round for a complete sweep of the prizes for Wednesday night's game. QUIZ RECAP
Last night at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills was another fun packed night for King Trivia! A total of 11 teams participated for some gift certificates and a round of shots during the drinking round. Taking the 1st place prize last night was Gin Soaked Bar Maids who took the lead after Round Number 5's Find the Connection round by correctly answering 9 out of 10 questions and edging out their nearest competitors. Pogue Mahoney took 2nd place by also edging out their nearest competition in Round 6 by knowing their literary mythical creatures. Who'd those two teams edge out? Well, none other than the third place team, Kirkland Signature who started the night strong by getting all the questions in round 1 right, and successfully doubling down on Round number 2. The drinking round was a blast as all teams sent up a pair of players to play, one team member holding a toilet paper roll on a knife, while the other team member had to use his head/nose to unravel the paper all the way. Whoever did it the fastest won, and that team was The Mildings! Check the pictures to see this hilarious game in action! Until next week! Remember as always, help control the pet population. QUIZ RECAP
Another successful and fun evening was had last night as a crowd of about 60 people and 12 teams packed the bar for King Trivia last night at Pickwick's Pub. Although the questions were tougher than the previous weeks, 3 teams emerged victorious, but not until after a 3 way Tiebreaker was had for 2nd and 3rd place. After the final round, teams "Les Quizerables", "Einstein's Dick", and "And Last Place Goes To..." each had 45 points for a tie for second. They each had to try and guess how many times Alec Baldwin had hosted SNL. The answer? 16 times! Einstein's Dick was the closest and took the 2nd place Prize and Les Quizerables took 3rd. Coming in 1st place was "Kirkland Signature" who rode out a successful and timely double or nothing in Round 2 combined with the correct answer for the 10 point clue on Gambler's Corner/Guess Who round to the 1st place prize with 56 points.
