QUIZ RECAP

Another Wednesday night trivia has come and gone at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills, but the fond memories remain! 60+ players on 13 teams, came excited to play Southern California's original trivia game!

For the Drinking Round, teams had to send one player up each to compete in a head to head style tournament. The game? Each player went head to head with another, and they had 45 seconds to be the first person to knock down two empty water bottles by flinging rubber bands at them. If neither could player could knock both bottles down, the person that knocked down one bottle first would move on to the next round. If neither player could knock one bottle down than both teams would be eliminated. After one round of play, only 3 teams were left. So players from 219, Renaissance Women, and Where's Emily competed head to head to see who could be the first person to knock down a bottle with a rubber band. The winner, with his first rubber band fling, was team Where's Emily! They won a round of shots for their team! Way to go!

Coming in 3rd place scoring 55 points was team Hanky Panky! They just edged out other teams by successfully Doubling Down in the final round! Proving once again, that it is never too late in the game to win a prize! They took home the $10 gift certificate.

In 2nd Place, scoring 58 points, was team The Makeouts! They successfully doubled down on Round 6, and also correctly guessed the Round 4 famous person on the 10 point clue! They took home the $20 gift certificate! Way to go!

And making their triumphant return to King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub after months of being away, was team Diversity Poster! They scored 59 points, just barely edging out the Makeouts, and took home the $30 gift certificate 1st place prize! Awesome job! Welcome back and good to see you all again!

QUIZ RECAP

It was a WOOT WOOT Wednesday because 65 players on 13 different teams showed up to play another exciting game of King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills on Wednesday night! WOOT WOOT! Always great when there are a ton of teams and people playing!

For the Drinking Round, teams had to play another "Minute to Win It" inspired game. For this game, each team had to send up one member to play, and that person had 30 seconds, and 18 pencils that they had to bounce the eraser of the pencil on a table to try and land the pencils in one of three glasses on the table. The first team to go set the bar with 2 pencils in the glass. 5 more teams went after them and couldn't score more than 1! Until, Need for Feeds came up and rocked it landing 7 pencils in one of the glasses in 30 seconds! A few other teams came close scoring 3, 4, and 5 pencils in 30 seconds, but Need for Feeds was the winner! See the photos above for shots of the game!

Coming in Third Place scoring 52 points was team Poor Section of Malibu. They used to be a staple at King Trivia in Pickwick's Pub, but alas, as it does, life got in the way, but it is always wonderful when they grace the game with their presence, and they got 3rd after being away for a while! Welcome back!

Coming in 2nd Place and scoring 56 points thanks to a successful Double or Nothing on the Final Round, was team, There's Always Money in the Banana Stand! Referencing, of course, the great TV show Arrested Development! They scored a $20 gift certificate! Awesome Job!

And who do you think scored 1st Place! I will give you a hint, they usually play every week, and you will hardly find their team outside of the top 3 teams each week! That's right! The Mighty Mighty Puffins again with a strong showing, scored another 60 points, good enough for them to take home the $30 gift certificate and the win! Another great performance guys!

QUIZ RECAP

Woohoo! King Trivia on Wednesday night at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills brought in an enthusiastic crowd of 16 teams ready to try and win some prizes and drinks! I love it when the crowd cheers when the show starts! It's the best!

For the Drinking Round, teams had to send one player up to play a version of a game originally made popular by the former gameshow Minute to Win It. Each contestant had to start with 2 pencils on the back of one of their hands and they had to flip them up and catch them in mid air with the same hand without dropping any. Each time they successfully caught the pencils, they would add two pencils and try and perform the same task. The person that successfully catches the most pencils would win the Drinking Round and a round of shots for their team. It was a tough competition, but several teams got the hang of it, in fact two teams successfully caught 13 pencils. But the winner of the game was Jamaican Me Crazy who successfully caught 14 pencils without dropping any! Way to go! Hope you enjoyed the shots!

Coming in third place scoring 46 points was our naturally creative and photogenic team, Alternanative Facts. They are notorious for always coming up with a different team photo style whenever they're in the winner's circle. Wednesday's picture was no different. Check it out above!

Coming in 2nd place thanks to a successful double or nothing in Round 6, was team Blue Milk! These Star Wars fans were able to score 56 points on their way to seizing the 2nd place victory! Enjoy the $20 gift certificate you scruffy looking nerf herders! I'm just kidding, your not scruffy looking!

And coming in 1st place was, just take a wild guess, that's right, the Mighty Mighty Puffins! They scored 71 points even without a full squad! You guys kick ass! Enjoy your $30 gift certificate!
