QUIZ RECAP

Phew! What a Wednesday! It was the first Wednesday night in two weeks that it wasn't cold and rainy! The bar was packed from a birthday for one of the bartenders, and 50 people showed up to play trivia! One team even had a bunch of tiny baby sized hands on their fingers! It was a wacky Wednesday at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills for King Trivia for sure!

For the drinking round, teams had to send two players from their teams to compete in a race where one member picked up a plunger with only their legs, run around the bar with it between their legs, and then coming back and sticking the end of the plunger into an open empty bottle between their teammate's legs! It obviously provided plenty of laughs and fun! Completing the race in a rapid fast 18.44 seconds, Alt S or Be Sent really knows how to "get it in"! And they got it in and got a round of shots for whomever was drinking on their team! Way to go Alt S!

In third place, with 60 points, making their triumphant return after a 2 week hiatus, were the Mighty Mighty Puffins! Welcome back you guys! Missed ya!

In second place, scoring 62 points and also making a return after a long absence, were the Renaissance Women and Lancaster! Way to get that $20 gift certificate!

And killing it and scoring the best score of 69 points, always a winning score no matter what placement, were the appropriately named, And in First Place! It's like they are psychic or something! Who could have predicted it?! Way to go team! Enjoy that $30 gift certificate!

QUIZ RECAP

2 wet and rainy Wednesday night King Trivia games in a row? Since when does this happen in California?! But the King Trivia game goes on at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills despite the weather. 6 teams showed up to see who would win the 1st and 2nd place prizes.

For the drinking round, teams went head to head in a rock paper scissors tournament until there was one team left standing. That team was Mustard Tigers who defeated 3 teams in rock paper scissors to win the drinking round and a round of shots for their team!

Coming in 2nd place after a tie breaker between Dracula Musical and Nalonso & Baharmo, Dracula Musical came out on top and won the second place prize and the $20 gift certificate. Both teams scored 43 points.

And coming in 1st place all by themselves, was team Diversity Poster! Each week they show up and compete and sometimes they take down other King Trivia juggernaut teams like the Mighty Mighty Puffins, who strangely, were absent two weeks in a row! But I digress, Diversity Poster is becoming an elite team in their own right and deservedly took the 1st place prize and won the $30 gift certificate scoring 55 points after successfully doubling down on rounds 1 and 2! Way to go DP!

QUIZ RECAP

A wet and rainy Wednesday night and people mourning the loss of Stephen Hawking resulted in 6 teams coming out to play King Trivia At Pickwick's Pub. It was a fun night nonetheless and a celebration of Pi Day 3/14!

How did we celebrate it you ask? Well, for the drinking round, a player from two teams, Hanky Panky, and Alpha battled it out in a head to head, good ole fashioned Pie Eating Contest! Check out the photos! Hanky Panky straight up killed it to win the round of shots for his team! Way to go Hanky Panky!

But that's not all for Hanky Panky, as they also took home the second place prize of a $20 gift certificate by scoring 53 points! A solid night at trivia for sure!

And coming in first place from the get go, 2 guys on the team The Stephen Hawking Sex Squad, scored a whopping 57 points and took home the $30 gift certificate! Way to go you two!
