QUIZ RECAP
What a fun night we had at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills for King Trivia! We got to celebrate Lace's birthday and everyone sang her Happy Birthday before the 5th round! Happy birthday Lace!
For the Drinking Round, each team had to send up one player to compete in a "Minute to Win It" type game. Each contestant had 30 seconds to try and bounce as many pencils from the eraser of the pencil onto the table, and into a glass on the table. Whoever got the most pencils in the glass in 30 seconds would win the Drinking Round. At the end of the round, 3 teams were tied with 4 pencils bounced into the glass. Fact to the Future, Hanky Panky, and Quizzie McGuire had to face off in a final round to see who would win the shots. For the sudden death round, whoever was able to bounce a pencil into the glass the fastest would win. Hanky Panky went first and bounced one in in 8.5 seconds. Then Fact to the Future came up and got one in in 4.9 seconds. Then Quizzie McGuire came up to try and get one in faster, but only was able to bounce one in in 8 seconds. So Fact to the Future won the Drinking Round again! They have won at least 3 Drinking Rounds in a row now. Way to go!
Rounding out the game, we had the birthday team the Queens Feet coming in 3rd place for the night, scoring 54 points and taking home the $10.00 gift certificate. What a bday present!
Coming in 2nd place, just edging out the Queens Feet by one point, and taking home the $20 gift certificate was Trivia Team Assemble. She played by herself but took home the 2nd place prize! Last week she played by herself and won! Natalia is killing the game! Very impressive!
And in 1st place, scoring 62 points, was team Hanky Panky! They usually are near or in the winner's circle each week, and this one was no different! They took home the $30 gift certificate! Way to go!

QUIZ RECAP
Dang we had a packed house for King Trivia and the Dodgers game at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills on Wednesday night! Bar was full of people cheering on the Dodgers and wanting to have a great time playing some Pub trivia! While we didn't get a Dodgers win, 4 teams won prizes for King Trivia!
For the Drinking Round, teams had to play a game called Baseball Quarters. In this game, each player had 9 quarters (batters) that they had to try and bounce into a shot glass, cocktail glass, pint glass, or tall caraffe to try and score "runs". The shot glass was 1 run, cocktail glass worth 2, pint glass worth 3, and the caraffe was worth 4 runs. Whichever team scored the most runs, won Baseball Quarters. It was close between two teams early scoring 6 runs, but then team Fact to the Future came up to bat and scores 16 runs! That would be enough to take the Drinking Round prize, winning a round of shots for his team! Woot woot!
Coming in 3rd place for King Trivia, scoring a very impressive 61 points, was Trivia Team Assemble, which sadly didn't quite assemble, because she was playing by herself, but that didn't stop Natalia from kicking ass and taking home the $10 gift certificate! Incredible job!
Scoring 66 points, team Hanky Panky took home the 2nd place prize of a $20 gift certificate! Always a contender, Hanky Panky yet again proved their skills at knowing lots of trivia! Way to go!
And last and certainly not least, scoring 68 points and benefitting from a successful Double or Nothing in the 6th round, team Schweddy Balls took home the 1st place prize, a $30 gift certificate! Way to fend off the other hungry Pub quizzers to win it all!

QUIZ RECAP
We had a other fun night of King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills last night! 8 teams came out to try their hand at winning 3 gift certificates and a round of shots.
For the Drinking Round, teams had to pick one member to come up and write their team name down on a sheet of paper. That was all a ruse for Quizmaster Danny to see which hand was their dominant hand. That's because for the Drinking Round he made each representative from the teams throw three darts with their non-dominant hand to see who could get the closest to the bullseye. And with just a beautiful shot just touching the outside ring of the bullseye, Fact to the Future won the round of shots! Sweet throw!
For second and third place, we had a tie breaker question asking how many movies were on Netflix as of May 2022. The tiebreaker was between Hanky Panky and The Headscratchers. Hanky Panky guessed 9500, and The Headscratchers guessed 865. The correct answer was 3012. So The Headscratchers took the second place prize $20 gift certificate, and Hanky Panky took home the 3rd place prize $10 gift certificate. Both teams scored 55 points.
And coming in first basically holding on to the lead since the first successful Double or Nothing in the first round and whose score of 86 points could not be topped, was Team Default! Congrats you guys! Enjoy the $30 gift certificate!
