What a heartbreaker it was to see the Dodgers lose the World Series on Wednesday night. A large crowd had gathered at Pickwick's Pub hoping to see the Dodgers emerge victorious, but a rocky start by Yu Darvish put them in a 5 run hole in the second inning that they couldn't climb out of.
With the World Series going on, trivia went a little differently than previous weeks, except for the week before when the World Series Game 2 was on and that game went into extra innings. We started with the pictures round, and then the matching handout round for the second round. Then we played rounds 1, 3, 4, 5, and 7 in that order.
Emerging in 3rd place was team Alternative Facts with 42 points! Way to go guys!
In second place just being edged out of first by 1 point were the Mighty Mighty Puffins. They scored 50 points!
They got edged out by a successful double or nothing by the Dog Mamas on the final round to put them in first with 51 points!

Tough start to the game on Wednesday night as the Dodgers were playing World Series game 2 in a heartbreaker that went to extra innings. So the game started with both handout rounds while the game sadly finished with a Dodgers loss in extra innings.
But the game went on, as happiness was trying to be restored. And for 3 lucky teams, it did!
In third place were The Dog Mamas, who scored 51 points!
Coming in Second were the Incepticons who scored a whopping 57 points!
And beating them all out was Hanky Panky, a young couple whose vast trivia knowledge scored them 64 points and the first place prize!

Phew! What a tough night of trivia it was on Wednesday night at Pickwick's Pub for King Trivia! Not one team doubled the entire night! Needless to say, we had a pretty low scoring affair!
For the drinking round, teams had to compete to see who could stop a stopwatch the closest to 5 seconds. And with a whopping 4.99 seconds, team Biltong & Falafel won the drinking round and a round of shots.
In 3rd place was the Fire Breathing Llamas with 34 points.
In second, and just edging them out with 35 points were Alternative Facts.
And in First Place with a very low first place score of 42, The Mighty Mighty Puffins!
