QUIZ RECAP

Well, time for another recap for Wednesday's King Trivia game at Pickwick's Pub. Surprise surprise as the Mighty Mighty Puffins won the drinking round and took 1st place again. It's almost to the point that I may stop doing recaps because they win all the time! They had the lead from Round 1 with a successful double or nothing, lost the lead in round 2, but regained it again in Round 3 with another successful double and never looked back. In their dust all night long was the second place team, We Can Be a Jessica, who won 2nd with 56 points just edging out Douchie McFuckFace who took 3rd with 55 points. They battled it out all night long switching leads almost every round until We Can Be a Jessica took the lead in round 6 and didn't give it back. For the drinking round, teams had to send a player up to name a football team and a Broadway musical. The last ones standing were Mighty Mighty Puffins, proving they know lots of things! Now this is a story all about how, two teams turned Pickwick's Pub upside down, and I'd like to take a minute, just sit right there, I'll tell you how Mighty Mighty Puffins, and The Peeps, became the Kings of Trivia, ya hear?

In West Woodland Hills born and raised, in a pub is a King Trivia show I've hosted most of my days, chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool and all shooting up questions like I'm teaching school. When a couple of teams who were right from the hood, started answering questions because they really could. They got more than one right, and the other teams got scared, I said, "You're scores are moving up like they're flying through the air!"

I signaled for the drinking round when it came near, the Quizmaster said, "Go!" And cups went flying here and there! If anything I could say that The Peeps were so rare, but I thought "Nah, forget it." "Yo, Peeps raise those shots in the air!"

The Peeps also rocked the house to 2nd place, and I yelled to the Puffins, "Yo homes, you're the winners!" I looked at the bar, and I was finally there, at the end of the game, now home to sit on my derriere!

QUIZ RECAP

A lighter night at Pickwick's Pub last night for King Trivia, but it made it more intimate than usual. The night was capped off by the drinking round where a member of each team stood on one leg as long as possible to win the round of shots. After at least 3 whole songs, a member of The Peeps kept her leg up the longest and won it! It was very impressive! After that we had a tie breaker for 3rd place between Rose Tattoo, and Barry or Barris. They had to answer the question, "How many wins do the Montreal Canadiens have since their founding in 1917?" Coming closest was Barry or Barris to take 3rd with 57 points. Coming in a rare second place were the Mighty Mighty Puffins with 65 points, but they were in 4th place all night until a successful double on the final round. In first place with a whopping 81 points were the Peeps who also won the drinking round. The Peeps were perfect through the first 4 rounds of play, but still killed it the rest of the way. That wraps up the night of King Trivia! See ya next week!
