QUIZ RECAP

We had another wonderful Wednesday night at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills for King Trivia last night! The bar was packed full of eager trivia players ready to get one of their first opportunities to score points for the start of League Play! And score points they did! For the Drinking Round teams sent up a team member to compete in a game where they had a stack of solo cups. At the bottom of the first cup on the top of the stack, was a smiley face drawn on it. On "go" each person competing had to move the cups one at a time from the top of the stack to the bottom of the stack all the way until the smiley face cup reached back to the top of the stack again. With a time of 1:04.70 team "You Get an Indictment, and You Get an Indictment" set the bar early two teams in and it was a bar too difficult to catch. So they won the round of shots for their team!

They also ended up coming in second place scoring a whopping 89 points! They took home the $20.00 gift certificate! Way to win big!

Coming in third place, just behind them, was team "Don't Look While I Pick My Thong Wedgie (This is Not a Team Name, I'm Just Being Honest)" who scored almost as many points as characters in their team name! Their 86 points was enough to beat the Wet Mustasches and Hanky Panky and take home the $10.00 gift certificate. 

And last but certainly not least, our first place team, Renaissance Women, who have been playing trivia at Pickwick's Pub for 8-9 years, showed up again in a big way last night, and led the whole night through, ending with a major score of 95 points and taking home the $30 gift certificate! That is how you start League Play!

QUIZ RECAP

It was a more intimate King Trivia show at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills but the trivia goers brought the energy and excitement to the game as they always do!

For the Drinking Round, teams had to identify the movie and the name of the song from 8-Bit cover versions of popular Disney songs. Whichever team got the most right would win the round of shots for their team. Headscratchers got most of them correct guessing 19 out of 20! They won the round of shots! Way to go!

Coming in 2nd place was Hanky Panky! They scored 48 points and took home the $20 gift certificate! Awesome!

And scoring 61 points, leading practically the whole night through and coming in 1st place, was team Come On Burnt Toast, Let's Go Burnt Toast, Ah Ah Ah Yeah! They took home the $30 gift certificate!

Another fun night at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills for King Trivia on Wednesday night!

For the Drinking Round, we played a game of High/Low where contestants had to guess whether the next card in the deck would be higher or lower than the card that came before it. Each team took a turn until only one was left standing. Stupid Sexy Flanders was that last team standing and they won a round of shots!

We had three clear winners for the trivia portion of the game, Burn, or Burn Not, There is no Toast took home the 3rd place prize, a $10 gift certificate after they scored 40 points. 

Coming in 2nd place, scoring 53 points was TooSmar4ourOwnGood! They took home the $20 gift certificate!

And in 1st place, Corner Bar scored a whooping 55 points thanks mostly to a huge double or nothing in Round 5 which propelled them into the lead which they held on to until the end. They won the $30 gift certificate! Way to go!
