QUIZ RECAP
Another fun time was had for us at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills last night as we had some more King Trivia to play! We learned about ground-breaking politicians, had to name speaking characters from a Charlie Brown Christmas Special, and had to answer questions about apples and pairs among other things.
For the Drinking Round, teams competed in a "snowball" toss, the snowballs being marshmallows that one team member has to toss into another team member's mouth. Whichever team tossed two marshmallows successfully into their teammates mouth the fastest would win the Drinking Round. We had several teams do it under 10 seconds which I thought couldn't be topped, but then Trader Joe's Hoes comes up and destroys the competition successfully tossing two marshmallows in under 4 seconds! They won the round of shots for their team! Very impressive!
Coming in Second place was team Hanky Panky who benefiited from a couple successful double or nothing opportunities to secure them the $20 gift certificate with 49 points scores!
But it was Thunder Storm who rolled through Pickwick's and took home the $30 gift certificate first place prize scoring 52 points! Way to go to all teams!

We had to run the game the old fashioned way on Wednesday night!
Team Mayhem won the Drinking Round by correctly identifying Christmas Songs played by kazoo, in a head to head tournament where they came out on top and won themselves a round of shots.
Coming in 1st place was Santa's Swinging Sack with 76 points! They won the $30 gift certificate!
Coming in 2nd place was Burnt Toast scoring 73 points, they won the $20 gift certificate!
Way to go to all teams and thanks for bearing with us playing the old fashioned way!

Another great night at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills for King Trivia!
For the Drinking Round teams had to send a player to compete. That player had to strap a belt around their waist with a lanyard attached to the belt hanging down in between their legs. The lanyard had a hook on it which they had to grab Christmas bows with and once hooked had to walk over to another basket to drop the bows into. Whichever team got the most bows into the basket after a minute would win the round and a round of shots. Hanky Panky and Trader Joe's Hoes each got three so we had to have a head to head timed round to see who could get a bow into the basket the fastest. The winner getting a bow from one basket to another in less than 11 seconds were the Trader Joe's Hoes! They won the Drinking Round and a round of shots for their team! Way to go!
Coming in second place and winning the $20 gift certificate was team Hanky Panky scoring 71 points! Awesome!
Coming in 1st place scoring 81 points was Burnt Latkes! They won themselves the $30 gift certificate! What an amazing job guys!
