Teams upon Teams upon Teams turned out in the warm summer night air for some hot trivia at Barney's Beanery. Teams launched off the board with double-downs flying everywhere in round 1, but Round 2 had many stumped and most teams scored 3 or under. The trend continued in our theme round, and Mount Fuji for "Guess where" had almost all our teams stumped until the later clues. Round 5 had more than a few scratching their heads trying to find the Indy Connection of all these answers. For better or for worse, knowing the math was not on their side, teams began launching salvos of Double-Downs in round 6 and 7, but three teams were able to rise above - with only a one point difference between First and Second!

What's a quiet summer night in Westwood need? Loud and raucous trivia-goers! And that's exactly what we got tonight at Barney's Beanery in Westwood!

Twenty teams faced-off in 7 rounds of action-packed trivia mayhem. "Yass Queens" and Zaddies each triumphed in round 1, with successful double-downs, which "Yass Queens" would repeat in round 2, setting them far ahead of most other teams, only one of which scored over five points. Round Three had a bit more conservation of confidence and every team hovered around four points.

Mila Kunis only escaped the Minda of a few teams, and the rest were able to get in their correct answers within three clues. The gaps began to widen, and the cracks began to show with greater and greater risks all around until only three remained not sobbing into their beers. "Alex Trebek's Children" took home third, as early rivals "Yass Queens" and "Zaddies" garnered second and first, respectively.

18 teams filled the scoresheet tonight at Barney's where the beer flows cold and the apps are hot.

A wide board in Round one, with almost every point value represented. Round 2 was about split with 50 and 100 % scores from every team except Yas Queens and the Pen Fifteen Club (complete with uniform) Doubling down successfully. After an intense Rock/Paper/Scissors battle between rounds 4 and 5, The trend continued with Yas Queens staying near the top of the heap every single round until their Triumph, bumping last week's champions down to second place, and newcomers "Fed Ex" taking Third. Honourable mention goes to Taco Belle, for joining a bit late, and valiantly doubling-down every single round to try and catch up!
