The place was filled to the gills, and while competitive drone racing was taking the center stage on ESPN as the sportsball leagues turn their efforts to family holidays and weighing in on international politics, the Triva Goers were ready for competition and the chance at over $150 worth of prizes. Two Broke Girls gave a good start, but some low scores and shook their confidence and they bowed out along with Sweet Peas and Katz: the Muse- ical. Cheetah Girls and Thunder n' Oil Co. pushed valiantly, but were not as disappointed as Texas Rocks, Luvi Sucks who made up enough ground only to finish one point behind our leading three, Assistants Anonymous, A table divided, and That's Spanish

As the citizens of DC sent fruit baskets to Clayton Kershaw and Justin Verlander while celebrating their World Series win, the denizens of Barney's Beanery launched into an evening of spooooooky trivia! Despite an early double-or-nothing misfire, Milo's Irish Goodbye pulled the double of winning 1st place overall and the Survey Slam drinking round. The Christines (spoiler, not all named Christine) came in second, and there was a tie for third between the Juicy Potatoes and Where is Cole Sprouse, which was broken by Juicy Potatoes' closer prediction of the weight of the world record heaviest pumpkin. Tubers know their squashes! A good night was had by all on a cold and windy (and spooky, did I mention spooky?) All Hallows Eve Eve.
