QUIZ RECAP
Another rainy day, but there’s no need to stay home and binge the latest season of Guess Who Ate Sandra’s Shoe. Idle Hour has the setup to keep you dry, fed, hydrated, and FILLED WITH TRIVIA! That’s right, it’s Tuesday friends, and that means the king is in!
20 teams braved the foul weather to join us in glorious questionable combat. And with three prizes and a drinking round to award, this QM was about to make like the weather…and let it RAIN!
Round One was a simple affair for our practiced patrons, and we ended with the normal massive tie for the top spot. In fact, only two teams neglected to throw down a double.
Round Two was practically a nightmare for Quentin Tarantino: picture after picture of famous feet, but all clad in shoes! Panda Boots was the only team brave enough to double it up, and they took the top spot.
Round Three put the luck of the Irish to the test. While Panda held their ground, 720 of Emotions and 80085 launched up to a closer second.
Round Four saw our leaderboard lock into place. Panda Boots had first, 720 in second, and 80085 in third.
Drinking Round honored our national day of Pi, and it was Move Over Jay Z that took the free shots!
Round Five saw Jay Z step up to third place after locking down that connection. 720 slipped down into fourth and seemed to be out of the fight!
Round Six Ended with Panda on top and a FOUR-WAY TIE for second. 80085, Move over Jay Z it's Gay Z, Quiz-Team-A Aguilera, 720 of emotions.
Round Seven was an epic finish, with teams throwing out monster doubles like there was no tomorrow.

QUIZ RECAP
Clear skies and french fries brought out the crowds as King Trivia returned to the barrel-shaped battleground of Idle Hour for another epic event. Hot food and cold drinks fueled the throng of trivia titans for what would become a night to remember.
32 teams crammed into the bar for the most epic game of pub trivia ever performed. With the bucket o’ candy primed and the QM properly caffeinated, it was time to start the show.
Round One was an easy setup for most of our teams, but also separated the Wild Wendys from the Cautious Cathys. Doubling down is the name of the game, but with so many teams we ended up with a massive tie.
Round Two asked our teams to identify famous green celebrities, both real and fictions (okay, mostly fictional). After some classy doubles, we had a four-way tie at the top: Diana Spencer’s Gifts, 720 of emotions, We Cool, and Emergency Food: Cocaine Gummi Bears.
Round Three was a theme that had our teams thinking about the mad science behind the produce section. Diana Spencer’s Gifts and Emergency Food locked into a heated tie at the top.
Round Four saw Idle Sour take second, but could they maintain their position against such tough competition?
For the Drinking Round, we had a series of tougher and tougher questions about cereal (like you do). Morella Panthers managed to knock out the other contenders and win the free shots.
Round Five taught our teams not to mess with Texas. No change in scores, but 720 of Emotions and Snark Squad won “best wrong answers.”
Round Six put our teams to task for not knowing their WNBA teams, but it was Agents of the Zeitgeist that shook the court by taking the lead!
Round Seven was a nail biter, but we ended up with a clean line up of winners.
When the dust settled, we crowned Agents of the Zeitgeist, Diana Spencer’s Gifts, and Idol Sour!

Rain, rain, go away! You’re harshing the vibe here at Idle Hour…oh wait! What’s that? 26 teams still braved this crazy storm to engage in the greatest show of all…KING TRIVIA! What a surprise.
Actually, it’s no surprise at all when you’ve got the best show in all of NoHo. These trivia titans brought umbrellas, rain coats, and insane energy as we dove into seven rounds of incredible quizzical action.
Round One proved slightly more of a challenge for a crowd of mostly new players, but our vets were here to show them how it’s done. We had a four-way tie for first: Emergency Food: Let’s a-Go gurt, 720 of emotions, Trivia?, and Da Bears.
Round Two took our teams to cinematic snow drifts, and allowed Da Bears to sled into the lead.
Round Three in put love in the air, but the top spot wasn’t moving. Second place whittled down to Alcohollabackgirls and The Downhill Sassholes.
Round Four took no one by surprise, and our teams hardly moved their positions. It seemed like we needed to break the tension with a little free booze.
Drinking Round asked the question…why does February only have 28 days? With the winning answer, the free shots went to Garf!
Round Five was a deelish connection served at an easy medium-rare. Half Straws followed their stomachs and took the lead.
Round Six was no one’s friend, but that just meant it was a boon for the readers of the pack. Diana Spencer’s Gifts, lingering in the shadows for so long, suddenly jumped into the lead!
Round Seven went fast and furious, and proved a challenge even for the veterans, but soon the way was clear for a winner.
We held a rapid-fire tie breaker and crowned our winners: Diana Spencer’s Gifts, Half Straws, and Da Bears!
