QUIZ RECAP

Autumn is in the night air. We had 4 teams with one new team KA Trio with three local preschool staff. Thanks for be our essential workers. Returning night warriors were the often victorious Highway Stars with a big gathering of the 4 usual suspects plus friends. Ava's Minions had their namesake Ava with her bf Esteban joining them. Ava is the former Recess Room bartender extraordinaire who was the matchmaker of Brian and Yvonne. True love.

So the rounds were a varying degree of ease and difficulty where everyone had a great time. No Bogie team tonight so maybe the lads went late on the course. See you all next Wednesday. Spread the word. Trivia keeps us witty and wonderful. Special thanks for Jerry to bring in his Eric Clapton concert program as it was an answer from a recent quiz night.

QUIZ RECAP

So it is halfway to St. Patrick's day. I wore green as promised plus brought a green trick or treat bucket filled with treats to mark the date. Inside pub seating now allowed. We enjoyed the enclosed patio with three returning teams. The Bogeys shocked us by arriving on time as their weekly pre trivia golf game got an early tee time but true to form, they left early for a live fantasy team pick. Whatever time we get with the lads is always welcomed. Ava's Minons changed locations and chilled out on the sofa section and Highway Stars held court with their foursome on their favourite tabletops. Jerry was sporting his rock shirt of the week and Jenna had her timely Get Out the Vote tshirt.

The winning team's scores jumped ahead in a stellar direction once Highway Stars won their 10 point bonus for the 10 question round for the Round 6 handout. Ava's Minons did well with solving the mystery of Find The Connection. It pays to listen to music!

The Guess Who round had Highway Stars in the lead with their magicians knowledge. We concluded the evening's festivities with Round 7 testing the flavor knowledge of Jello shots and current label colours of Johnny Walker whiskey.

Under a smokey sky with a glowing eerie orange setting sun, we had patio trivia fun at the Recess Room. Some people may be partied out from the previous 3 day weekend but trivia folk are loyal and competitive! Three Returning teams and three new teams including the birthday girl Shayla with her big sister Melissa. The 7 rounds were intriguing. The questions were an assortment of mysterious delights awaking the cobwebs of one's minds.
