One fateful day three decades ago, five boys picked up a game of handball during school recess on a Fountain Valley playground. They grew up together, became life-long friends and pursued their own ambitions. But they shared a deep love for their hometown and dreamed of one day opening a restaurant together where they could share good food, good drinks and reminisce about good times. The Recess Room is their childhood dream come to life.

Packed back room for our weekly trivia time at the Recess Room bar and restaurant! The A/C kept us cool and the great food plus thirst quenching spirits kept us fueled. 

Welcome back our returning teams especially Church of Quizentology! Greetings to our two new teams of the family trio Team Pixie and the dynamic duo of Deliah with bf Victor of AGON sportswear. 

We learned about countries and their iconic statues,  Pitbull the singer, Arnold Schwarzenegger quotes, GNP and more. Congratulations to the winning teams.

Ah it is St. Patrick's day eve and the true night warriors venture out which is appreciated. We had green shamrock decor, beads, glo bracelets, hats etc. Fun loyal teams plus a newbie team on their first date!! Ooh la la!!

 

Congratulations to the winning teams. Thanks to the staff for another awesome night of great food, spirits and ambience. Notre Dame's basketball team won during our trivia as we have 2 TVs on behind my back. Talk about a supporting cast of characters behind me!
